I’ve been playing since beta have around 3500 hours in the game, and have nothing nice to say anymore. With each new passing terrible decision blizzard is doing, I am not having fun anymore. No PvE, no leveling except for a stupid battle pass, and don’t get me started on the battle pass itself….no reward anymore. Heading back to TF2, as I thought OW would be the better game, boy was I wrong. Adios.

Bruh, they had to go triple XP this weekend.
In 7 years they ain’t ever done that.
That has to mean not state wide, no USA wide, nor North America, but world wide player population has dropped.
Owl view count today was half of what the count was last week.
See you next week makes you sound as tone deaf as the devs at how bad the world wide community reaction was to their announcement.

I’ve gone back to The Binding of Isaac, Call of Duty: Zombies, and Team Fortress 2. TF2 is especially great because I can play a character and build a sentry, and I don’t have to hear stupid complaints like “This is an FPS! The Engineer doesn’t play like a typical FPS shooter guy! Nerf him! Remove his sentry and make him fight up close!”.
Speaking of which, people hate the sniper, but people also tolerate the sniper. Valve even said “We simply can’t remove him, but we would if we could”, so I guess that’s why everyone’s (more or less) cool with him.
Overall, TF2’s community is just better, but maybe I’m biased.

TF2 is the ex you left for a model, and the relationship with said model eventually went sour, so now it’s crawling back to the ex and hope they fulfill the void the model left in you.

But over the 2.5 years I wasted on this game and the forums, it was extremely common to see

As someone with like 2k hours of TF2 under my belt, every time I tried playing it again, it felt horrible. Had some fun a few months ago replaying some of the MVM missions but aside from that, the game has shown it’s age. Couldn’t really get into it.

Overwatch has a very unique hold on the players in the community. The game is difficult to walk away from. But once you have, you legit never look back.

for me, the only issue with tf2 is it’s so damn hard. i feel like everyone who plays tf2 is a god who came out of their mother fully grown and already holding a copy of the orange box. i feel like every person on tf2 can play every single character to a level of efficiency and precision that is inconceivable to the average mario 3 speedrunner. the couple times i tried tf2, open the game client and it’s just the respawn screen. timer runs out, respawn, um… did you just run past that dude? that was a spy numbnuts. respawn screen. okay one more time, trip out the gate onto a banana peel and some dude kills me with a taunt. at least in this game i feel like people in quick play suck relatively close to the amount that i do, generally speaking.

I mean there’s definitely bad TF2 players out there. It’s just harder and harder to find. Most of the TF2 community that is left has been playing the game for what might as well be forever in “gaming” years.
Hello fellow crying baby fan. Sometimes I wish I could get back into Isaac. I played thousands of hours of WOTL. Then I played a few hundred of every DLC aside from the latest one. I find it hard to get back into that loop once you exit.
There is still PvE though, and also “player progression” will be in S6 - last we heard it was per-hero leveling.
God you have no idea how racist against Texas this class has made me.
