Ximmers have ruined console gaming entirely. Every game high diamond and above has a ximmer in it at this point. They have removed any semblance of fun I once had. I hate ximmers

ximmers are in process of being banned at the console OS level
I am more or less making a joke, cause your running away from keyboard and mouse to a place where everyone has a keyboard and mouse

I don’t care that they have a keyboard and mouse. I care that they get aim assist with it. It’s impossible to beat them on console.

I bought my first PC back in 2017 because I wanted to experience OW as it was intended. I started on Xbox but can’t imagine going back. I hope you find a new love for it playing on PC 
I tried console OW on my PS5 and holy 
the pacing felt so slow and controlling my character felt like I was stuck in the mud
I used to be a console gamer many years ago but I’m kind of glad I made the switch lol

That is just the Reaper experience.
Aim assist exists for console because it is significantly harder to aim with analog sticks than it is a mouse. You have your whole arm to aim with, console players only have their thumb.

Problem is if everyone has that problem cause they are using a controller nothing really changes and then you have to ask your self what’s the point… It would be a better argument for aim assist if you were gonna have cross play and trying to make it fair for cross play with keyboard or mouse…
But that isn’t what people are claiming or wanting they say it is harder on console… If everyone plays by rules and use controller, then aim assist then need to be said what’s the point, cause if you got use to it without it you wouldn’t care about it… I personally think aim assist is a crutch people use to avoid getting better.
On the plus side, you don’t have to play console anymore so that’s a win lmao.
IMO playing FPS games on a controller is torture. And I grew up playing on Consoles.
FPS gaming on PC IMO is far better than playing on consoles. Skill expression is just more fun.
Issue is ximmers are on PC as well sadly. Not as bad of an issue as on console, giving them M/KB aim and aim assist, but they can be used on PC to add scripts and other BS to their play. More used on other shooter games where you can use them to auto fight against your guns recoil so you are shooting perfectly stable with a gun that has bad kick and not having to control it yourself. Not to much of an issue in PC Overwatch Id think, but xim and others like it are still causing a plague for PC just under hackers. Speaking of, your gonna find more of those in PC too.
Maybe back when pc tech was evolving so fast you had like a 2 generation time limit on all your parts, but nowadays even a midrange graphics card lasts three or more generations if you’re willing to accept lower settings. My friend is still using a 970 and all he needed to get to run Baldur’s Gate 3 was an ssd since that game all but requires one. Those XBox Live and PS Plus subscriptions add up over time if you need them for the games you play, not to mention the $10 console game tax nearly all big game publishers have been forcing for decades.
