Game performance is way lower after the new summer games patch and it seems to be the case for everyone in my games as well, went from 220FPS average to 90-140FPS

Yea same here i already suffer in performance cuz my machine is pretty old and suddenly after this patch the performance dropped badly so i asked in game and everybody is experiencing this too… went from 45 - 60 fps in quick play to 25 - 30 max with huge drops and hiccups

EDIT: SOLVED!
I will post here to help whomever has the same issue. Me and a friend of mine have the same issue of fps drops after this patch, but i have just fixed it for both of us. You can try:
A. Unistall and reinstall the game,
B. Transfer your Overwatch folder in the same hard disk in which you have your Operating System installed,
C. Update your graphic card drivers,
D. Use “Analyze and Repair” tool on Battle,net
For me worked point A and B because i downloaded Overwatch on my HDD from the beginning and never transfer on my SSD. Doing that the game will automatically reinstalled and now it works better than before…

yes same for me heavy micro stutters comes with the patch 1.38 specially
i im already on the newes drivers and Analyze and Repair
i feel like its a overall problem but im not sure some mates and me have it

Yes it apparently fixed the problem but it jumps back again as micro stutters where my fps drop to 100 and SIM to 38ms (CTRL+SHIFT+N you can see large white columns). I faced this problem only on specific maps like Anubis and Paris atm… I will report this to Blizzard bugs support.

same for me. Went from over 300 with under 20 ping to under 100 and 80 ping. I have dual 1080ti and fiber so doesnt sound right to me. If the scan and fix doesnt work im gonna have to reinstall the whole game

Same for me and also for 2 out of 5 people I play with every day as well. It’s so awful, we can’t play ranked anymore and the other modes aren’t fun anymore either 
Started right after Summer Games patch as well, before that, everything was fine.
I have the same problem and to the same degree but in short but super frequent bursts (when I turn, shoot, melee, etc.)
I’ve had this issue for the past two days with it getting steadily worse today to the point its impossible for me to play. Why do the events always screw everything up and why isn’t there any quality control going on?
