These problems all occurred while playing a digital copy of Overwatch: Origins Edition on Xbox One S
I was recently playing a competitive game on Eichenwalde as D.va where the HUD and all enemies (except the enemy Zenyatta, for some reason) were completely invisible, as well as my own character. I was still able to interact with other players and see my own teammates, but was unable to remedy the problem by attempting to switch characters (in which case the character select screen would freeze only showing a blue glow, and Iād have to rocket boost out of the spawn area to leave), by respawning, or by pausing to access the menus (which has no accessible options, and were invisible). Upon switching to defense I could not select a character and was forced to leave due to inactivity. Only after rebooting the game and rejoining was I able to play as normal.
This problem has occurred twice since then, I canāt remember details on the second but the third I was playing defense as Widowmaker on Junkertown, immediately switched to Reinhardt before the game started and again all HUD disappeared as well as some camera clipping through the stage.
When viewing the hero gallery I checked the emote for both Zaryaās and Zenyattaās dances which both failed to load and locked the menu (which was invisible, only a blue glow) after pressing B to go back.
These problems have all occurred within the last 3 days, luckily I was able to claim victory with the help of my friends on our competitive match, but Iāve been afraid to play since then. Which is a real shame as I was quite excited for the new event, especially the new loot boxes.

I having this same problem as well.
Iām getting this problem constantly on my Xbox one origins edition. Itās made me have to leave more than a few competitive matches now.
Reinstalling overwatch seems to have fixed this issue. Hope it works for the rest of you as well!
This is still happening to me on my Xbox, I thought it was crappy equipment after i moved, but I just upgraded everything and itās still going on. Any word on this?

This has only been a reoccurring problem for me during the past 2 weeks. The only way to solve it is to completely close the application and reboot the game. Although it does reoccur as I play more games. Itās come to the point that I could possibly receive a penalty (in quickplay). Iām not sure if itās becasue of my poor internet speed though it has only become an issue very recently so it wouldnāt make sense that itās a result of my internet. Could be a bug only some of us are experiencing? I donāt know but please Jeff, help us!
The fact that this has been ignored for weeks is upsetting, as it is a game-breaking glitch. It only started happening to me today, and Iām not sure why, but seriously we need a solution. I tried restarting everything (game, console, internet) as well as reinstalling the game but nothing has worked.
If there was a bug like this on PC that made the game unplayable for some people, it would be fixed immediatelyā¦
This has been happening to me now for a week. Blizzard. Please look into this. I canāt play the game anymore cause my HUD disappears, i canāt see enemies, my crosshairs are gone, and i canāt even leave the game without quitting the app entirely.
This started happening to me today too. Also got stuck in an endless loading screen trying to play comp and FFA and ended up getting booted for inactivity.
Iām having the same similar issue. My whole HUD will disappear after selecting a hero even the character itself. The other issue I came across is when I try pulling the menu up to leave the match it just makes my screen a bit blurry and canāt exit the match. My hero can still move around while the screen blurred with a invisible HUD.
Happened to me today, TWICE. 
and blizzard donāt give any acknowledgement that they notice this issue. Sad
One of the big issues Iāve been having on Xbox One S is that while playing defense on a payload or capture map, when I am killed and back in the spawn room, it is just black for an extra 3 to 5 seconds that I canāt do anything. Like it is intentionally keeping me from getting back into the game. This is not something that Iāve ever experienced on PC.
Same on PC, had 2 times this glitch
I had this repeatedly after a new install. Had to delete the entire game and reinstall to fix it. Maybe Blizzard could benefit from a ācheck game files integrityā option?
So guys i had the same problem, My hud konstantly dissapeard and it had nothing to do with my graphics dirver or shadowplay. I actually fixed from copying overwatch from my 2nd ssd to my main ssd. this means that your hdd or ssd could be damaged or your system has problems comunicating to it or just a hardware problems motherboard ssdā¦
Having the same issue. Started a week ago and still ever present. any way to fix this?
