Hello, I’m having a problem with my overwatch game my game seems to always look at my team when i move if that makes sense if im doing 180s itll track them, no i don’t have 3rd party software i checked everything with antivirus and it says i have nothing on my pc which is bad.
I’m very confused about this as i can’t play the game normally so it must be with overwatch is there a way to completely reset everything ? I’m not talking about video settings as they are fine by as a whole reset everything maybe in the ow directory ?

No settings are saved in the Overwatch directory where the game is installed, so there wouldn’t be anything to clear in there. If you want to uninstall the game and reinstall it through the Battle.net app that would reset the game directory where it’s installed, though it’s unlikely that would clear up what you’re describing.
The graphics/sound settings are saved in the Documents\Overwatch folder, so if you want to reset those you can delete the Settings_v0 file in there or use the reset game settings button through the Battle.net app.
Other settings like your key bindings and crosshair settings are all saved on the server side, so that they carry over with you in case you play on a different device. If you want to reset the key bindings to defaults via the in-game settings that’ll clear those settings on the server.
I’m not entirely sure what you mean by “it will track them”. Does that mean your aim will lock on to your teammates? If you can provide a video clip of it happening maybe that’ll help show what you’re seeing on your end.

I have reinstalled windows and i have reinstalled overwatch and i have the same problem, it locks on to my teammates / aimlocks onto them if that makes sense, I’ve never downloaded 3rd party software so I’m unsure what’s causing this i have linked 2 videos below showing you that my windows is freshly installed and what my game looks like, I’ve everything so far and I’m unsure on what to do next.
As of now i have
Freshly reinstalled windows / overwatch.
Run multiple Antivirus softwares to try detect malware such as TotalAV, Kaspersky and malwarebytes, which come back all clear so i have no viruses.
I’m actually unsure on what to do next i know how the games suppose to feel as i have 2500+ hours on it it’s just unfortunate i can’t play as of now because on my POV it looks cheats when im not.

I have contacted the support and they’re not sure whats causing this so this is my last resort coming here, hope i can get a fix thanks

I’d recommend to submit a new ticket and include new MSINFO and DXDIAG files so we can look into this further.
There isn’t anything on an account or in the game that would cause this, so there’s likely some other explanation if it’s locking on.
