In the simplest way I can think to rank up is just keep playing and if you are good in the end your team can’t hold you back and if your a casual player it’s the same In theory you can easily lose because of your team but as long as you have the smallest edge over the enemy your going to rank up
Dawg, this is ground breaking. You just blew my mind.
To a frighteningly large amount of players it really is.
While just playing does get you to rank up, eventually- it also really depends on the person.
Some people try to think about their mistakes and fix them, but most don’t and blame their team. So regardless if they have 10.000 hours or not, they’ll still be in plat.
People generally dont understand rank is an imperfect scale for imperfect humans, and take it too seriously.
People also generally dont understand it takes a long, long set of games to truly get a relative grasp of their rank. There’s so much noise to weed out in getting your rank, I firmly believe a lot of people dont play enough for the MM to get an accurate approximation of it.
Its funny too cuz when folks actually get to their rank and start losing as much as they win, they’ll complain the MM is “rigging” their games. Always amusing to read
