General
- Life Grip and Healing Blossom now have a separate sensitivity
- Health increased from 200 to 225
Comment: This is to fix the issue early access players had while playing him, separating both sensitivities will now no longer effect Life Grips ability to lock on to other allies easier while keeping his healing blossom travel at its normal 100% angle. The health buff is to ensure his survivability is mid, because 200 hp for a hitbox even bigger than Zenyatta is obviously a issue, so 225 hp should help in the long run.
Healing Blossom
- Maximum cast time reduced from 1s to 0.8s
- No longer has a -25% speed penalty
Comment: Instead of affecting his actually healing output to not cause power/heal creep, these QoL buffs will help ensure that he can juggle between allies easier and so his blossom doesn’t feel bad to use because of the speed penalty.
Life Grip
- Now cancels the pull if the Lifeweaver player jumps into a death pit
- If an ally’s placement is over a death pit, they get teleported inside/behind the Lifeweaver player
- Cooldown reduced from 20s to 17s
Comment: Obviously the biggest worry about this ability is the griefing potential, so these changes to it should help reduce the potential griefing has for environmental kills on allies. Of course, things like ruining their position is still in effect, but it’s now on a 17 second cooldown, it’ll be fine.
Tree of Life
- Burst timer reduced from 1.75s to 1.25s (bursts 12 times up from 8)
- Healing bursts increased from 50 to 75
- Ultimate charge rate using his Healing Blossom is increased by 7%
Comment: This change should help solidify itself as a fast burst heal ultimate that would help in a lot of cases. It was too slow before, so making it faster definitely should help push it into the right direction.

The hero hasn’t been released yet. No one here has played him yet. Wait and see how he does in comp before deciding if he needs to be fixed.

Well they definitely need to separate his healing targeting and pull targeting. Its way too wide of a space for you to use the pull accurately if your teammates are bunched up at all, but turning that down also means you need to be more accurate with your healing which is already bad and designed to be easy to use. Separating it would be very nice.
His hitbox is also huge so a little more hp could be necessary (maybe not, but he’s considerably taller than Mei and not much thinner), especially since he might be a strong dive target thanks to his passive.
As for the rest of it, maybe the changes wont be needed, you’re right its too early to tell, but I do think the changes suggested are good ones. His healing is slow and clunky, the number isn’t terrible so not increasing that is fine, I think speed is the correct choice if devs feel it needs to be buffed in some way.
The speed delay also feels counter-intuitive and just makes him more clunky.
His ult I’d honestly rather it get a buff to his charge for it. He cant get any ult charge from his two main utility abilities, leaving only his weak healing, his damage, and his 25 healing on dash to charge it. It doesn’t seem crazy strong at all, so making it more like coalescence, an ok ult that you get frequently, would be a nice change IMO and help with his healing output problems

Dude shut up.
Commenting on every post re: lifeweaver the exact same thing.
If this many people are already having issues with the hero and suggesting changes, something is off. No other hero in the history of Overwatch has had people asking for changes on how to ‘fix’ the hero before they’re released.
This hero is fundamentally flawed in its design and we would like to possibly see some changes made before his release. I do not believe this hero was play tested for a second because i cannot fathom how this design made it past initial concept.
I have watched 6-8 different content creators who have all played him and none of them think he is very good. All of them think he will be extremely weak/niche so……
Coupled with our own opinions on how he looks to play, i think we have seen enough to be asking for some changes

How do people have issues with a hero no one has played yet in a real game?

Because we have eyes and can see?
It doesnt take a brain surgeon to be able to see the problems with the hero. Then you have everyone who has actually played him literally saying the same exact concerns and criticisms verbatim
I mean if a hero was literally just baby dva with no abilities or anything you’d have a problem with that without playing them right? because you can look at their potential output, survivability, etc. and know that it would be low af.

Logic, information, comparison and feedback from the testers. Its not hard to see that a support with a big hitbox, the weakest healing in the game (labeled as Main healer) and having a controversial ability, will be something people dont look forward to.
I was hyped, but the more I think about him the more I am worried. So much griefing and such a fragile kit that is centered around the yoink… not good.

You can see what? Literally no one has seen what meta forms around him in real games yet.
The utility he brings with his flower and pull suggest he’ll be borderline OP, given the strategies and plays he opens up
I’m terrified/excited thinking of the new widow spots his platform opens up alone
Lol, you’re actually so stupid. Every character in this game has been under attack at some point even if they don’t need it. This forum is filled with people with the IQ of 5 years olds. Just wait for the hero’s release, my lord

We have only 8 supports in the game, we dont have the time to be getting throwaway fluke heroes like LW
They promised us we would be getting new supports this year. Id honestly rather get nothing, than a hero who is at his core a flop. His design and kit does not work together at all!
He is a healer who slows himself when healing people, makes sense
He is a ranged healer who’s main support ability revolves around bringing teammates to him…… so how is he healing the person he pulls to him exactly??? He’s a ranged healer with no effective way to heal people in close range…. Like…. Hello? What you gonna do? Pull someone to you and then just stand there charging your flower for a second just to heal them 65hp.
How did he get through testing!!!
He cant heal and damage at the same time. He has to swap. The whole point of Overwatch 2 was to make supports able to play more aggressive. How can you play more aggressive when you have cumbersome delays swapping between your healing and damage…… none of the other supports have to deal with this issue.
Hold up
Wait a minute
Something aint right
He’s hot garbage. Take him back to the drawing board he isnt ready to be released.

As a support main I don’t like some of these abilities. I would like the flower/thorns thing to be a AOE heal/damage (with lower numbers) on the right mouse click and the left mouse click to be a single target heal that is more instant. The pull ability should not exist, this seems to be an ability copied from WOW priests and I hated that and I will hate it in OW2. Actions and movements in OW2 should always be controlled by the player and not by others, enemy CC abilities not taken into consideration. Maybe if the grip has a 1 second attach window, slower pullback and being able to cancel the pullback as the player being affected by it would make this a lot more balanced.
I like the ULT.
I like the movement, but it should have 7 or 8 seconds CD).
I like the flower bed, but CD should start when it lifts a player or when it’s destroyed. While on the floor waiting, it should have lower (half) health so it can be countered more easily.
I like the on-death healing flower but the amount should be equal to enemy or friendly.
In short, I would replace the ‘E’ (pull ability) with the flower bed raise thing and add an AOE flower/thorns to right click that you charge and make the left click an instant healing/damage ability.
What a dumb comment. We aren’t talking about a hero with no abilities.

We are talking about a support with only one healing ability tho that is deemed as being too weak. The other abilities weren’t touched (minus some anti-trolling QoL changes to pull).
*baby crying
Shut up. Nobody cares, I’m a support main and you’re crying for no reason. He looks awesome, and I can’t wait to play him. Stop crying little baby

We’re allowed to speculate and use what we know of him to compare to other supports.
Great to hear. How are you intending to heal the teammate you pull to you may i ask?
You must have a secret technique no one else knows of course
His kit is honestly borderline OP. I hope to god people see the opportunities for emergent gameplay, and don’t measure a support’s viability by raw healing output alone.

His kit is divers, but not OP. Maybe you fail to see the problem, but besides the yoink that is extremely controversial, he offers nothing even close to what other supports bring to the table. Also everything can be countered, by all heroes with damage or movement. So in what world is he OP?
He will be UP AF (even more like release Ram) and will take the complete season to even be at a playable state.
Early access players had a chance and have taken notes of issues to come. You can go on YouTube or twitch or even tiktok and see that there’s some issues with him and it’s not just the life grip ability.
A lot have noted his healing is low and slow which is a huge detriment in OW2’s fast game pace.
They’re noticing he has a massive hit box which doesn’t really compensate for what his kit does-unlike Zen’s DPS and discord to balance out his speed and hitbox.
Like people who play this game for a living has access to him and are a lot are noting the same issues.
