How to play on tank?

Solo tanking is stressful , just take a break and play other roles when you get frustrated.

A sombra right click noping a sigma ult or a earthshatter noped by suzu or IMF is nonsense.

I would suggest openq atleast you will have a chance of another tank, match making is loose though due to less numbers.

Don’t beat yourself up over blizzard balance

Ya but Maria mam is in enemy backline

If it’s nana they are relieving they glory days dueling widowmaker

It it’s kiriko they are doing 4 step plan

If it’s mercy ya they are there beaming you , trying to help you or others.

You can literally use mini in hotel and statue and keep touching if you are on doom or ball.

Always try play with at least one support and pray you have a team that’ll work with you otherwise its over feom the start for you.

You don’t need to sit on objective all game. Take map control and prevent enemy from pushing into objective.

The objectives are empty on purpose. It guarantees a team fight. Not watching some bias video about Overwatch from some content regurgitator.

Ok then stay in bronze flame your teammates for your misplays and think you know all about overwatch
Or learn to play corners

Not bronze.

Haven’t used chat in years, text or voice.

I don’t have to know it all, to know why the objective is bare.

Objective being empty doesn’t mean you need to always fight on objective. Go watch any high rank kings row game
Do you also sit on low ground on objective on numbani instead of setting up on high ground. The objective is so empty after all

You have to at some point.

Maybe Blizzard will make the rounds in the game twice as big again so we can get bullets and explosives to kill you around corners like everyone is Junkrat.

Taking cover isn’t bad advice, but in literally every other game where hit boxes and rounds are more tightly controlled, it matters way more.

Why do you need to be in the center of the objective? You can contest objective from the edge of the objective as well last time I checked. If enemy team already pushed onto objective on kings row your team failed to contest space near hotel or statue and allowed them free space. Now your team will have to spend resources like ults to get a pick and flip the point

So either play near statue or hotel. Both are corners and are close to the point. The video explains it much better but you think you already know enough about the game and the only reason you can’t climb is teammates bad or bullets big

Dear, you say look at yourself, but I have lost many games in a row and I would have won them all as a tank on the enemy team, and by pressing the keyboard with my foot, not my hand.
The main problem of this game is 3 exclusions of players, I would rather exclude 100 people and wait 20 minutes, but I will play with adequate people in the team, which can switch lucio on anna vs enemy hog

It’s crazy how you’re explaining basic stuff and people still don’t get it

You don’t need to be on the center of the objective. You can play around the car, for example, just keep circling around it to break LOS and also touch the point.

I’ve played with Natorian, he’s not bronze.

The problem is in our rank we have an issue with wussy healers who will not leave the objective for ANYTHING. They won’t even edge up so they can see you if you’re ahead at a choke. They think that the entire team needs to be on the objective, which leads a lot of tanks at our rank to also be very objective minded because if they DO walk up to try to hold a corner or the choke ahead, they’ll be alone.

I started maining tank myself just this season after 7 years of refusing to do it. The wussy healer thing is my main complaint—and I’ve been a support player for a long time. I never hung out on the objective, so every time I get healers that REFUSE to push up with me I know it’s going to be a loss unless I also just play on the objective (and then half the time it’s a loss anyway).

I’ve tried EVERYTHING, too. I’ve been like “Guys we need to move up. We want to retreat TO the objective, not AWAY from it.” I’ve said “What’s the better idea, to invite them to touch the point or to prevent them from ever getting to it in the first place?”

I’ve tried pinging ‘defend with me’ at the relevant choke, over and over. I’ll have them ping to me to fall back to the objective.

One time I even said “If you’re defending a city, do you let the enemy inside before you fight back or do you meet them outside the walls and send them packing?”

And people will argue AGAINST this logic because they just can’t comprehend it.

My solution has seriously just been to stop saying anything at all and just play forward and aggressively whenever I can. I’ve climbed a bit since picking tank up so I’m starting to get more aggressive healers who know that when I go ravager form it means PUSH. lol.

But yeah, Nat’s not bronze, but I do know exactly where he’s coming from. He and I play tank differently though.
