I need all the tips and tricks about her abilities and playstyle.
Fly up and then surf on buildings. Drop down on squshies. Try to land your stickies and maybe hit a shot or two. Then press E. Fly away to get healed. Other than that spam left clicks to build ult. Then copy a tank. Idk that’s basically how I play her and I do fine.
She’s mistakenly played as a flanker often. Yes the flanker playstyle occasionally works but not often. She’s actually very squishy.
She should be played with your team, that’s where you’ll get the most value.
Sticky bombs are your best friend. Use them to your advantage. You don’t have to just put them in one area. Moving where your character is looking while you sticky bomb creates a wider area in which the bombs will stick/explode.
Try and play Echo when the enemy team has a hero you know you’re good at. For example, I go Echo when the enemy team has a Dva because I know I’m good with her.
Oh it’s easy, just fly around and get killed by hitscan over and over again until you quit the hero because hitscan are absolutely broken.

For a serious tip though, please remember you do NOT have to stay in the air just because you can.
I agree with this. Use your mobility as a defense tool and you’ll notice you’ll be almost impossible to kill. Obviously there are times you want to be aggressive but you’ll learn the balance by practicing her.
Offensively Echo is very good at assisting your main tanks in pressuring the enemy. Her whole kit will help obliterate shields.
As far as squishies try to land as many grenades on them as possible. Follow up with one or two primary fires then use your E or what I like to call the Melt Beam. When you get quick with this combo you’ll delete squishies in the blink of an eye.
Hope some of these help.
theres many guides on youtube by pros, id go there
I wouldn’t really agree with this. Especially if shields or flankers are being ran by the enemy.
It mostly boils down to what is being played in the match, and how comfortable you are with the hero, playing against her counters and etc.
But I’d say that sticking with your team can be a death sentence to your kit and the max value that you achieve in a match.
All of the stuff in here is great advice.
I will add though she has a flight cancel tech that’s EXTREMELY useful.
If you hold down space bar, activate flight, then immediately cancel it (the timing can be tricky), it will YEET you into the air, as you retain full speed and momentum from the initial flight speed boost. The altitude you reach using it isn’t as high compared to just using the flight ability on its own, but the speed at which you reach a high altitude is like literally 10x faster.
Its extemely useful for mixing up your recovery. And specifically against a zarya, It’s very good. If you dive her, and have to escape, the speed from your normal flight will keep you in range of her beam 9/10. The flight cancel tech gets you out of range immediately. It’s just great against anything that has close to mid range options, as you’ll be able to get out of there very quickly.
ALSO! You can use her ult to avoid CC and attacks due to invulnerability frames. I’ve personally stomped the absolute hell out of hogs by dodging their hook using duplicate then hooking them myself.
Before posting this thread: I should point out that I largely play Echo in the sideline or in the back line of the enemy as I’m personally very confident on her flanking - and don’t let other users discourage you from the play style because Echo is the MOST flexible hero in the game and can get value from most styles of play. But here is a thread that I made with some little obvious tips or things to remember when playing Echo:
Basically two ways: If you’re confident in your dueling abilities, you can play as an ambusher and try and secure quick kills on isolated enemies.
If you’re not a good duelist, play in your backline. Pressure the enemy frontline with sticky bombs and when you see someone get low, quickly use beam. You can also help your supports this way, and it’s the way I prefer to play.

I don’t like seeing some people in here saying you shouldn’t play a style of her when if played properly, you can wipe the enemy team with it.
