I think the hero who can 2 tap at a decent distance is alright for pressure off that alone.

I’d much rather it have an actual proper cooldown though tbh.
Just make it so the cooldown starts once the burn timer is over, and then just make the base cooldown shorter from 12 seconds to compensate.
That implies Ashe doesn’t miss, and doesn’t take into the fact she’s a slower, easier target with a smaller FOV when she’s aiming down sights. Otherwise, she’s got a big head, gets diffed by Widow and Hanzo, and an escape tool that any hero with decent mobility can just power through.
And what difference would that make? What if the dynamite doesn’t hit anything? Are you implying the total cooldown should be longer? Wouldn’t a simple cooldown nerf with what we have suffice, because things are starting to get messy and we don’t need to fill the wiki up more than we have to. And if it is longer, how do you balance that so the rotation of abilities doesn’t feel slow and tedious; that it doesn’t feel like a waiting game, because I for one would not rope Dynamite in with the likes of Rez, Immor, and Suzu in obvious power and value. The big thing is would the hero feel good to play, how do they feel around other options that could very much do her job better, and if these changes were to go into place, how does that affect the experience?
It would increase the cooldown.
Then it would immediately go on cooldown.
No because you’d literally be off worse if it was a longer cooldown lol.
Imagine it like this.
IF you hit people with it, it’s a longer cooldown than right now. If you miss, it would be a shorter cooldown than what it is right now.

Her hitscan “projectile” size needs a nerf, that is the biggest issue with her at the moment.
Revert the reload buff ‘lets take the Ashe weakness and make it null hyuk hyuk’
i get the feeling she might be nerfed in the season 12 balance patch. i hope not since i know sombra might since they hinted at reducing all flanker/mobile heroes health.
i might not be a fan of season 12 but hey juno is here so ill probably just be a juno main for a while
Unpopular opinion, but Ashe is quite balanced right now, and you’re struggling against her because the person playing her is a better shot.
She only became S tier because of Casserole nerfs, nerfing her just pushes another character above her, and the cycle never ends.

The hero has been top 3 for multiple seasons atp. Even before cassidy got nerfed.

The better shot thing also just means nothing… it’s a hitscan hero. They aren’t difficult to play outside of widow. Especially when she comes with a massive AoE ability that isn’t remotely difficult to land.
Plus ya know… buffed projectile sizes.

Or honestly… remove dynamite? This is a more extreme case but to me personally, I do not see why the ranged DPS hitscan hero, who’s counterplay is meant to be “lol play behind cover” is allowed to have an ability that… punishes people from playing around cover. But that’s just a me thing, obviously dynamite isn’t going anywhere.
Because Ashe was made to be intentionally designed to be overpowered.
Her entire design is that of an anti-anti-sniper that can get value even against anti-sniper heroes.
Then advocate to reduce bullet sizes and reward skill, not nerf a balanced hero.
I’m going with the conclusion that… blizzard ain’t reverting that garbage. So… this is what I suggest instead.
I play a lot of both support and Ashe and I’ve always felt she’s the fairest hitscan to play against. Like dynamite is not hard to manage if you just keep an eye on the affected person, which you should be doing anyway.
Make more noise, the louder people with actual aiming skill scream the more likely they change it back so we can stop getting killed around corners by logs.

OR nerf the fact that her hip fire is basically a hitscan storm arrow.
It just isn’t though…
It does much less damage is wildly inaccurate and has falloff her hip fire is only good at close range engagements, popping dynamite or finishing off a low hp target.
Storm arrow is the tank melting button.
She is very strong I will admit that (I have been saying that since the S9 changes were announced) but it definitely isn’t her hip fire that makes her strong.
As for coach gun… It’s literally a shotgun it would be stupid if it didn’t do damage. I have never seen anyone complain about coach guns damage.
I do like the sound of the dynamite nerf tho, and the whole bob now has a tank passive… That should be reverted, nobody asked for that and bob was never a bad ult.

Just reduce the headshot multipliers across the board
It wouldn’t jist fix Ashe it would fix a whole ton of stuff.
Ashe being good now is not because of her own strength, it’s because other ranged heroes all get nerfed while widow is very easily countered and s9 changes affected her breaking point less. There is a difference.
She is still quite weak into dive/flankers. Or give other ranged heroes some buffs she will immediately fall off.
