How to make Widow balanced

So everyone complains about Widow, but I have a solution that might make her more or less “skillful” in order to obtain her one shot capability.

  • New passive: Lethal Sight

Any enemies highlighted by venom mine or infra-site take increased damage by Widowmaker only.

  • Venom Mine

Now has 3x charges, similar to Sym turrets. Has a MUCH faster projectile speed and can be either used defensively or offensively now.

Remove her ability to one shot naturally (But keep a good chunk of damage so it isn’t completely useless) and I feel like this change makes Widow more engaging while also retaining the identity to her kit.

I don’t particularly mind her keeping her one-shot ability, but it needs a downtime that makes it possible to take space if she misses.

I also think there need to be more abilities that can reveal her location. Something that mostly impacts just her. I don’t want something that ruins flanking/stealth for characters like Reaper, Genji, Zen, etc…

But you can’t make a character whose counterplay is “avoid her sightlines” and then give her mobility that makes it impossible to know what those sightlines even are until you’re dead.

YES we need more of these kind of posts. Widow has so much potential on her kit, and blizzard just doesn’t change it bcs of the one shot.
