Hello, I am a dying plat Genji main, and today I will show you how to kill a Moira. The trick here, is to not move and click on her head when you go against Moira because her beam width is bigger than 20 Roadhog models. If she dmg orbs, just dash through her model then keep spamming shurikens on her head.
TL:DR = What’s the point of moving if her DPS is literally 50 per second and her beam width is basically the equivalent of a soft-autolock (gasp he said it!)

This is how you fight Moira as Genji:
Don’t.
She denies you. Her only existence denies your’s.

No, she really doesn’t. As long as you don’t jump a full HP Moira who has all her cooldowns, you should win.

Yeah people always talk about balance like the game is 6 1v1s when it’s not . It’s 1 6v6 , so yeah some characters are not a good idea to jump on with out help or when there at full health depending on your hero choice .
There’s a reason why you’re in plat and it ain’t cuz of Moira i’ll tell you that right now lol. Genji hasn’t been viable in a really, really long time and if you can’t pick up a new hero that actually fits in today’s version of the game, then that’s on you, not Moira 
Actually my main hero is DF. The reason I’m plat is because I just play to have fun. Genji’s just there if I feel like spamming Mada Mada.

yo im a moira main and the genjis that manage to kill me are actually those who get the headshots + quickdash so i cant react with heal orb / fade
and yea trying to evade and w a d spam might actually hurt you more than it helps you as genji
Oh and I forgot to mention to people: It has been proved that swinging your sword like crazy to the point that red slash marks appear on the front of your body does NOT help against a crazy scientist that’s right clicking the existence out of you.
Still, it’s not, it just has a leniency for poor aim, but i mean, Moira is suppose to counter big mobile heroes, don’t go aganist a Moira as Genji or Tracer, because you won’t win that engagement if the Moira is semi-compotent.
Pretty simple, really.
I think Kabaji posted a video about how to fight Moira as Tracer (applied to Genji as well.)
Basically you use AD AD spam to avoid being shot at by her teammates, not her. If it’s a 1v1 Tracer should have the advantage, even against full-health all-cool-down-ready Moira, but in reality it’s not advisable when Tracer also has to worry about gazillion other thing spamming her. So best course of action is still waiting to jump Moira when she is weak and vunerable.
