Yes you can work around Sombra, but that one absolutely is map dependent. I was on Circuit Royale offense and played around their Sombra just fine. Swap to the defense round and it’s utterly hopeless because you can’t engage at all without getting hacked. Blizzard plz, do something about Sombra.
You can sorta ignore sombra via setting up dives from a flank, with a teammate to dive with you, and by pressing the extra HP button on que with the hack sound effect. And just be prepared to shoot at the like the support or something to the rest or team can capitalize on the pressure.

Honestly it’d be a really easy issue to solve. Just make hack disable switching modes instead of putting you in walker mode.
She can still cancel the piledriver, prevent the shields and mines, and prevent rolling if Hammond was shooting, but then Hammond would at least be allowed to roll around without Sombra auto-killing him.
