Does anyone know how to buy the new in game currency for a friend? Its only giving me the option to buy for me unless I’m doing it wrong.
Probably not a thing then.
It should be a thing. If anyone knows how to gift the new in game currency to friends let me know.
Man, if only Blizzard made gift cards, or had an option in the store to gift out Battle.net balance!
If only they let you gift things to your friends from in game like in OW 1. Gee golly!
^ gift them money to their battle.net account. Then they can purchase in game currency.
"Gifting may be restricted for some products, payment methods, or currencies. If you don’t see the Gift button, you can gift Battle.net balance instead. If you want to gift World of Warcraft subscription, you can gift game instead.
It is not possible to gift Battle.net products across platforms. For example, you cannot buy a gift in the Battle.net Shop for a friend who plays on console. Similarly, if you play on console, you can only gift through your console’s store (Xbox, PSN, Nintendo) to friends who play on your same platform."
From the help page. Maybe it will be gift-able in the future. Don’t know of any kind of solution or work-around though.
Both PC players. I am just confused why there simply isn’t a gift option in game for friends.
just gift him/her battlenet balance
Maybe it’s technical or maybe it’s legal. It sounds like you should at least be able to gift them Battle.net balance so I guess there’s a work around after all.
This would never be a thing, it would lead to massive sales of coins via 3rd party people who steal credit cards etc.
Battlenet gift card seems to be the only way right now maybe one day they will add it in game but at least there is some kind of option.
