How to get the new twitch drops?

Is it only on the official ow_esports channel or can it be any channel? I want the new skin and name card but I can’t seem to gain progress by watching.

Weird because the twitch app says the campaign is from June 4 - June 10. Thanks for letting me know though. Appreciate it.

To earn the new skin and name card in Overwatch 2 by watching streams, follow these steps:

  1. Link Your Accounts:

    • Ensure your Battle.net account is linked to your Twitch account. Log into your Battle.net account, go to the Connections section, and connect your Twitch account.

  2. Watch Eligible Streams:

    • Watch any drops-enabled stream in the Overwatch 2 category on Twitch. This includes official channels like ow_esports and other eligible streams.

  3. Claiming Drops:

    • Watch the required amount of time to unlock each reward (e.g., 8 hours for the OWCS 2024 name card). Remember, you must claim each reward in your Twitch inventory to continue making progress towards the next one.

  4. Claim In-Game:

    • After claiming your drops on Twitch, they should appear in your Overwatch 2 account within 72 hours. Make sure to claim them within the campaign window, as progress resets after the campaign ends.

By following these steps and watching the specified hours on eligible streams, you should be able to earn the new skin and name card. Ensure your accounts are properly linked and you are watching eligible streams if you’re not seeing progress.

Just a tip for people.

If you go to a channel and drops are active it will have a little notification pop up basically saying “hey here are the drops you get”

From that little pop up notification above twitch chat you basically know whether or not to watch a certain channel for drops.

If the notification doesn’t pop up then click your profile and go to “drops and rewards” and then “all campaigns”. From there you can scroll down to Overwatch and click like “participating channels” I think.

Although I’m not entirely sure as to if clicking on participating channels just takes you to the OW category in general or if it actually filters the streamers out who don’t have drops enabled. For this upcoming I think it will be both from streamers and the OW_esports channel. Just watch OW_esports if you are unsure, as they are 100% guaranteed to have drops.
