I have no idea why the blizz team decided on this specific shade when its something not a single person has asked for, weve been asking for diamond, maybe platinum, ruby, etc skins for years, and they give us a dull metallic jade.
Honestly, the Jade Weapons are far less appealing compared to Golden Weapons.
and thats putting it lightly, they genuinely just look like a gun youd see on a 75 credit common recolour of the base skin of a hero

I disagree entirely. Gold weapons are nifty, but if you’re really into cosmetics, green is a pretty fun color for one’s own persona.
Didnt they came out to say that they change them? I mean after the S9 trailer dropped. I think there was some thread already confirming that they will change it again in the future. Or was that wish thinking from one forum user?
Possibly, although ive not seen any images or otherwise content about the possible changes so the only thing i have to go on are the images that were leaked before, where theyre just kinda looking like someone put green metal plating on the weapons

Jade is “somewhat” translucent afaik, like you cant see through it per say, but you can see into it to some degree, and it shines, like a lot, like any other gemstone, the one wee see from the images is just… stainless steel and spray paint
Agreed, that the current version looks more like “metallic green” than jade. Lets hope they get that it looks trashy and change in S10 or so, if they need to make the texture new.
If everyone would ask for Jade… we would of have gotten diamond skins…

Indeed. Persona is the reason I am looking forward to the Jade skin. I am playing P3 Reloaded and the green reminds me of the Dark Hour. I definitely want “Jade” for my Reaper.
Unfortunately I feel this cosmetic will be ugly on mostly everything, but it should look decent on Chained King, at least. And perhaps Bullet for my Valentine Reaper. We shall see…
