You need to leave a lot of competitive games in a row.

Be sure to not leave them at the beginning tho, leave mid game, possibly if your team is winning.

Get endorsements from other players. Lvl 2 doesn’t take very long.

I’ve freeze-locked an enemy roadhog and repeatedly teabagged him, and he still gave me sportsmanship lol

The bars on the circle only symbolize a percentage, not your number of endorsements. They’re just there to tell you what fraction of endorsements you’ve gotten for each category.

It decays if you leave matches. If you haven’t been doing that, you should get your rank up soon with steady endorsements.

You can’t check the # of endorsements you have without going through some unusual steps, but if you want I’ll find you a post that explains how to look up how many you have.

You can have the best game of your life with everyone on fire, everyone doing super good but no endorsements will be given due to the nature of some players. Some don’t like the system, some don’t give any but like getting a thumbs up themselves, some are very critical about giving one…etc. And that’s all fine.

A lot of people are going to hand out endorsements for that bonus exp, but what helped me get to rank 4 pretty quickly was being positive, but not over embellishing it and going overboard. It’s easy to misinterpret genuine kindness for “fake nice” and some people are going to think ANY amount of nice is fake. That’s their problem.

I also found flexing really helps. Maybe it’s because I’m a Mercy main and I really work to enable my team, but I almost always get compliments (got them prior to endorsements as well) and leave with a few endorsements.

You know, before the Endorsement system came out, I was nice and said nice stuff. I still do it! But here comes the point: I’m afraid that people will think my kindness is fake and then think that I’m Endorsement hungry.

I think as long as you know you’re not being fake, it doesn’t really matter. Something to keep in mind is if someone is looking for it, they will find fault in every little thing. Damned if you do, damned if you don’t. Just be yourself and keep in mind the endorsement thing right now means little to nothing and it will probably stay that way. It doesn’t give you extra privileges, it doesn’t mean you’re better or worse than anyone. Just play the game, have fun, and your endorsement level will eventually go up.

Around 50 endorsements or slightly less are usually required for achieving endorsement level 2.
