How to get actual customer support? Where to get any help?

Support ignores me, social media accounts ignore me, my post on this
Overwatch subreddit gets deleted without explanation everytime

Is there any way to get treated like a regular customer ( or even human being at this point) on this game? Like I am used to it from Ingame players, but not from official side.

My account got banned for things I didn’t do. There was money involved, I spent way too much lifetime on their games past 15 years. I supported this company while it was going only downhill year after year, kept telling myself things will at some point improve, that they’ll do good things again and now they just casually hand out perma bans where the account owner doesn’t even know theirslves what they did, nor they care to explain anything and just drop generic macro texts on you? Is this like a fever dream or something

I’d really like to get the message out that this company is doing things at this point that can’t even be legal anymore.

You won’t get an answer.

The system is purposefully designed in such a way that it is impossible to interact with and get an answer. I’m still waiting for even just an automated response for a ticket I sent through a month ago.

Amazing. How, just how did we go from one of, if not the best videogame publisher in the world to the absolute worst in a decade. baffling.

Nice name. I named my 2 year old son Jameson.

Anyway, yeah, I issued a ticket for a problem with the new Season 12 update causing an issue with voice chat. Ever since the new update, people can hear me but I can’t hear them. All players with Astro A50 headsets are having this issue. Something they changed caused it to have an issue with our headsets using optical cable for input. I explained it thoroughly and one of the first lines I wrote said I was using Xbox Series X and that I went through all of the troubleshooting tips already.

I got a response saying “I see you’re having connection issues” and listed troubleshooting tips for connection issues specifically for PC.

Seriously?!

I’m really close to just giving up Overwatch and sticking with PubG, The Finals, and Marvel Rivals when it comes out.

Customer Support agents can’t assist with or collect information about game bugs — they only account issues and direct players to troubleshooting steps.

If you find a bug, you need to report it in Bug Report and recommend to anyone else experiencing this that they do the same. Developers only respond if they need more info to recreate the issue.

Aaron Keller has a Twitter (x) account. You can rent a Twitter blue subscription to message him. Drop your support tickets. Whether or not he actually looks is extremely unknown. It probably depends on your follower count and how well known you are. Otherwise better hope he’s bored during lunch and responds. There’s really nothing you can do to force any real employee to look at your tickets. They don’t care about your account, and even if they do reply most likely they won’t turn over a ban. You have all the thousands of other players begging for unbans that actually deserved bans to thank for it

yea well, but that sounds illegal? Like, yea we’re talking about a videogame here, I know, but at the end of the day this is a company and they sell us a product. You can’t just ban your customers and then straight up ignore them. That must be a valid reason to sue them.

The End User License Agreement (which you accept/agree to when making an account) includes details about Blizzard’s ability to ban licenses. They are not required to disclose the specific details beyond “you broke our rules.” In some cases, repeated offenses of the same rule breaking are enough to constitute a ban.

Yeah, most likely. Many people who post and state that they got silenced or banned for no reason aren’t being honest. Blues would sometimes share quotes/examples of what earned the person a penalty, but I only see that happen once every few months on other Blizz game title forums, not this one.

yea well, but I have no idea what I even did. The only info I got was some generic text that I got banned for cheating / hacking, but I have never once in my life cheated on a versus multiplayer.

That is the full extent of the reason they will provide when it’s classified as a cheat/hack. Providing more info would allow people who cheat or hack to collect data on how Blizzard is catching them, and then use it for their own gain.

And I get that, but I have not cheated. Like never once in my life. And yes, I know, many people claim that, but I , as a account owner, know what is the truth.

I’m a volunteer and can’t see your account or evidence against it. Your only recourse is to submit an appeal, which is a request for another person to review the evidence against your account. You can appeal until they tell you to stop.

Discussing disciplinary actions is against Blizzard’s forum rules, and I do not recommend threatening legal action when you want someone to help you. But you do you.
