How to fix Rocket Punch

So I made a video explaining what I believe should be done to fix doomfists rocket punch. I had two ideas where if they dont want to increase the damage, they reduce the cooldown, and get rid of the “wind up” so its instant and weak but you can use it several times, along with some synergy with your normal melee so its like your pummeling your opponent, or a simple increase of damage.

Its crazy to me that orisas spear LITERALLY does everything blizzard said they didnt want Dooms fist to do. Your melee DPS is MUCH stronger than your actual gauntlet. That’s WILD.

Anyways I go REALLY in depth with everything wrong with the rocket punch design and at the end I elaborate on my ideas. Its still a new channel, and the amount of views Ive gotten on this is al ot for me, so let me know what you think :slight_smile:

Good ideas.
In my head I’m thinking these numbers based on your ideas.

Idea 1… 75 damage and 100 damage with charged fist.

Idea 2… 100 and 150 with charged fist.

I was thinking why can’t he block 100% of the damage like DVA, Sigma and Orisa?
Give him 100% block and allow his passive to work on blocked damage so he would get the shields like Sigma for blocking.
Of course not as strong as Sigma but even some extra shields would be good.

It’s also crazy that those other characters can actually “eat” ultimates like grav, pulse and blizzard.

Maybe even give him a touch of armour in the HP pool.

Yes Power Block will be the next video. Someone in the comments said that when powered up he should be able to win the clash between brig and rein.
