How to fix IND issues

I have been facing IND issues since last 2 updates. And the problem seems to be growing. earlier it was spiking to 34-35 but now it goes beyond 100 and has made the game totally unplayable.

Following is my winMTR test results for your reference.

WinMTR v0.92 GPL V2 by Appnor MSP - Fully Managed Hosting & Cloud Provider

Given those results it looks like something the ISP would likely need to look into as there’s quite a bit of packet loss occurring when routing through their network:

|103.132.244.236 - 1|330|329|1|3|123|3|
|10.1.5.97 - 60|99|40|0|3|38|2|
|182.79.152.156 - 3|310|303|58|62|233|64|

Per our article here, 50-60 is going to be about the normal range and so we’re not too concerned about the 34-35. If its getting to 100 though then I would recommend contacting your service provider about the packet loss.

Thanks I will do that. but If I am facing packet loss, I should face it everywhere right? Its been happening only in case of overwatch. All my other games seem to work fine.

crazymangya,

To answer your question - you’re probably experiencing it while using other programs as well, it’s more a question of HOW you experience it. For Overwatch, we’re hitting you with large amounts of live information at a high tick rate, so it’s possible you’ll see more problematic behaviors because of the amount of information going to your PC. How’d things end up going with the packet loss discussion? If you still need help, feel free to send us another winMTR and we’ll give it another look.
