Torb doesnt counter Sombra. She can hack the turret anywhere.

And what do you do if you’re playing support?
Some support are certainly less vulnerable to her than others, but nothing in the support role really counters her.
It’s almost like making a character that counters the majority of an entire role is poorly designed.
Yes, Sombra has counters. But having to depend on the other roles to handle her is horrible.

I usually go Kiri or Moira. If they have a dva or ball I go brig. Bap is really underrated too.
I’m a Brig/Lucio main so it’s easy for me to say Brig

Brig and kiriko both work well
with Kiriko you can take high ground, if you get hacked step down off ledge, then teleport
It wastes her time, resources, and it reveals her while she’s trying to get the turret offline.

It does not waste enough of her time or resources. She spends a 5 second cooldown to put Torb’s on what, a 14 second cooldown? She reveals herself for about a second? And then Torb is an easy target to lay damage into on top of it?
No, Torb is not a Sombra counter unfortunately, his turret is the only reason he would be and they made sure the turret is as minor an inconvenience as it gets.

Torb is usually played by noobies in Bronze, Silver, Gold and Plat. I rarely see him at higher ranks. Torb is pretty easily countered.
Tries to hack turret, turret shoots me because you cannot hack turret without it seeing you unless it’s shooting someone else
Doesn’t kill turret because team turns around
Resets
Hopefully a teammate doesn’t die 4v5 while I’m doing nothing

It also reveals her location and that she is in back line, at the very very least its an early warning indicator. You can only care a team so far in 5 v 5
You can still hack a turret without it shooting back at you. Bob, on the other hand, will fight back.

I think most players know how to counter her…
It’s not that hard to figure
But people just don’t like to swap specially for her… I dont like it either… I never have to swap my support role unless there is a Sombra,and I have to play supports I don’t like playing like Brig or Moira
The problem is not how to counter, the problem is that she forces u to counter…

Having approximate knowledge of Sombra’s whereabouts isn’t that useful given you can usually guess she’s behind you somewhere.
It’s the actually finding her part that’s the problem

I think the easiest counter to Sombra, is another hiding in your own backline holding right click. Probably the easiest way to make things boring for everyone involved. Including the sombras.
