I was wondering how to simply disable cross-play on Console, more so for Xbox?
I think cross-play is a great setting for other individuals ; however, I do not like it and want to disable it just for Overwatch on Xbox.
Also, is it me or does aiming feels OFF, as yesterday my aim was great, but today for some odd reason, my aiming/ tracking etc. just feels completely off.
June 22nd Edits: Found how to manual do this for XBOX.
Follow Instruction Below
Go to Settings > Account > Privacy & Online Safety > Xbox Privacy > View Details & Customize > Communication & Multplayer > Select block for cross- network play.
WARNING: This will disable cross-play for all games, so if you want to play cross-play on other games outside of overwatch, then you would have to enable it manually again until Blizzard allow you to opt it out in the game settings rather than the system settings.
Which crossplay exactly? Because console has two different versions of crossplay; crossplay with PC players which you will only be able to play if you group with a PC player, or crossplay with the other console platforms like Switch, PS4/PS5, and Xbox which is enabled by default?
Obviously. Let’s be honest here, you guys are fine and all…. But pc and console is a complete different world. How are you guys supposed to compete with pc players without aim assist? I don’t wanna be mean, but it’s just not realistic to expect you guys to be able to compete. AIMING ON A CONTROLLER IS HARDER THAN ON A MOUSE. And because of this most console people I played with today, completely threw and the team that had console players got hard rolled.
