Get a mercy of your own to pocket and damage boost you or really just play sombra. She does so much of a better job at grounding pharah and mercy and if your team is smart enough they will follow up with the falling flies. Or play widow or Ana. I don’t necessarily find them as hard to counter as people say they are. Sombra is probably just the easiest way to deal with them. You just need your other hit scan teammate or tank to get ready to dive them once they start falling

But what If im stuck on tank, and swapping means getting countered by their tank?
I agree there are several counters
I believe the main gripe is that people don’t like to look up. Some just like the Horizontal game.
It honestly shouldn’t be ur job as a tank it should be the dps
I main both sombra and pharah. Usually I’ll dogfight them, two consecutive directs will kill the pharah through pocket and then conc the rezz. But if that’s not possible then I’ll either sombra or echo. Echo can combo her through pocket.
But yeah given that pharah misses her shots on you, you can kill her as sombra. Otherwise there’s no way you’ll win the 1v2 if pharah can hit shots. Even in 1v1, sombras damage is just vastly inferior to pharahs.
On the other hand, I don’t recall sombra being an issue for me while I was pharah. It’s usually one rocket and she’ll translocate.
The same goes if I hear a hack on any of my teammates, one rocket and she’s out.
Not gonna lie, this is asking a LOT.
I always suggest two things:
Kill the Mercy or ignore them both, stay alive, and kill the rest of the team.
