Healing Beam
Heal nerfed to 40
NEW ABILITY:
Now can activate Burst Healing by pressing Reload button
Mercy gains 100% increased heal for 3 sec, cooldown 8 sec (now 80 hps)
cooldown activates after the ability ends
might need new animation when activating Burst Healing, maybe thicker beam?
comments:
this will increase mercy skill by using it at the right time
while also reduce the frustation nonstop high healing on low HP target on season 3
Ressurection:
Instead of cooldown, now works on charges
Mercy need to heal 1000 HP to be able to use Ressurection
comments:
with 40 HPS healing NONSTOP healing mercy will gain ressurection ability after 25 sec
but combined with burst heal Ability she can have it in less
she can also gain it faster while on valkriye
Damage Boost:
with ressurection now cost 1000 HP
she now need to avoid pocket stlye gameplay and actively fly to team who needs heals
since she need to constantly heal to gain faster ressurection ability
now damageboost are indirectly nerfed without actually nerfing it
Valkriye:
Healing Reduced from 60 to 50
Passive:
stays the same on live
NUMBER CAN BE ADJUSTED, just give me your thoughts on the fundamental idea…
Kinda op ngl. Having the burst heal on command, along with the reduced Res cooldown, you could be seeing multiple resses per Valkyrie at which point we’re looking at another potential moth meta.

well not really
since to get faster ressurection she need to nonstop heal for 20-25 sec, on valk if she nonstop heal it will be around 12 sec -15 sec if she had multiple target
she cant heal nonstop because she had to fly around or damageboost somthing
on average it probably around 18-35 sec to gain ressurection
also about burst heal, remember she now heals only 40 hps without burst heal ability, so thats very low
Playing against mercy now with the 2.5 sec ga actually feels fair to play against now though, you actually have time to line up at least two shots as Cree to try and two tap her before she zooms off again. I wouldn’t really want to decrease her ga back to 1.5 secs as that is op. Could maybe reduce the cd to like 2.2 secs and see how that feels. The rest of the patch was essentially buffs to her healing reverting the ga nerf totally would make her pretty hard meta. I mean right now she’s probably a stronger pick than she was before, but not as “fun” because you can’t spam ga as hard.
no. there is a simple fix.
give her wings a hitbox like echo has. That makes her easier to hit.
And revert the GA cooldown back to 1.5
rez should last longer when you are rezing a tank so that a single person can kill you in the time you are doing it.

First of all it is Cole Cassidy. Second of all you chose a bad example u could easily hit 2 shots on mercy even before the GA nerf.
I will say she suffers from similar stuff genji does. If she is hard enough to hit in gigh ranks she is to hard to hit in low ranks.

Personally I have an 80% win rate on her this season, admittedly only over 10 games but it feels very strong as long as you position safely and reserve GA for an escape.
reverting GA will offcourse will made her OP
but thats not whats my only suggestion
ressurection change is kinda on average a nerf
her healing will also get big hit, 40 HPS without using burst heal ability is 2nd lowest singlet target healing after zen
damageboost are also nerfed indirectly because of this
Explains why top 500 DPS were totally not complaining at how hard she was to hit…
I have a problem with this:
Mercy’s strenght has never been her HEALING as she is not a HEALER but a SUPPORT.
I think with the new changes her healing doesn’t really need to be changed that much.

I agree that her GA cooldown should be lower than the new one (2,5)
They can either make her hit box bigger or lower her hp to 175/150 and keep her very mobile.
Kind of like a support Tracer.
i think she can be mobile and hard to kill if her impact outside of her mobility reduced

If we do revert her ga cd to 1.5 should either reduce her speed while in ga which would feel sluggish so players will probably complain that it doesn’t feel as fluid, or we should reduce her hp to 150.
Range or speed adjustments, or restriction of tech use via CD or something more situational.
People always going to complain. I do think GA has to be at most a 2s CD. At minimum 1.5.
