Don’t know if this is the right place to ask this and it relates to me only being that of overwatch so I thought this would be correct. My account got suspended for the first time and I went thru their customer support to send a ticket but I don’t know if it actually sent since I got no confirmation of it doing so besides me hitting the button to send it. Is there a better way to contact them? I’m trying to get it resolved asap since I bought the event pass and don’t want it to go to waste. The email I got just told me they suspended my account and not why or how to contact them.
Keep going through support, request records. The process isn’t a short one, so be prepared for the long haul, if the process yields results in your favor at all.
idk lol. stand outside HQ with a pick-it sign.
lol jk. I’d just open up a ticket, and if they seam like a bot. just send another one until you get a response. Im going to guess though that they will not respond until about 1 week after new years. since they most likely are on holiday shut-down.
I really hope it isn’t a week
Im going to bet they are off for the holidays.
Worst case scenario. They handed out a bunch of severance paychecks and Microsoft takes over at the start of the year with new crew members. so they sent them home early.
I cant really be mad at them for taking the 2 weeks off. even though YES, we do like our overwatch being reliable. but I cant expect someone to work 24/7/365.
Low expectations. Have VERY VERY low expectations… Maybe don’t count on them for a while… Some people have been reporting up to 4 week timelines.
Why would I need records? I’ve never been suspended before and I’ve put hundreds of hours in the game and my account goes back to season 1 of OW1. Shouldn’t it be a simple resolve or clear missuspend?
Nope, asking for records or doing something that a robo response can’t do will, at least in theory, get you in contact with a GM faster.
Besides, can’t know what you were suspended for until you ask
