Im going to change my name and it says the first one is free what when i go to change it, it prompts me to pay 10 dollars. What gives??? How do i do the free one?

You’re supposed to go into battle.net and select your profile, and change it through there
Otherwhise it redirects to the shop for unknown reasons

I have never changed it. It just says to pay ten dollars and then right under that it says " first one is free"

It has been my observation that most players often change their battletag quickly from the time when they first created their account, often not realizing that they’re only allowed to do it once for free. Also if your battletag was ever actioned for being inappropriate to the Blizzard naming guidelines and changed to a generic battletag, that counts against your ability to change it again for free.
No i dont see that. All i see is “purshase battletag” and then a screen that says Battletag purchase 10 dollars.

I promise i have never ever changed it. And also it was never chsnged for being Innappropriate. My ps4 user name was Chief_Hamzel but that shouldnt effect it. Is there anyway Blizzard can look at it and tell me when i made the change because idk when i would have done that. So is it because i have a differnt name from my ps4 account becuase i wasnt allowed to use underscore on PC?
