We can see what some OWL players use as their sensitivity, or even look up YouTube videos, but there really isn’t a benchmark for console players. Everything that’s out there, all the best guides and players are on PC.
On console the sensitivities are either too slow to turn quickly enough, or it’s too fast to be accurate. There is no middle ground even with the 3 different “aim techniques.”
Can anyone help? And don’t tell me to play on PC because that will never happen. The mouse and keyboard feels alien and unnatural, and I hate sitting in a chair at a desk
I was about to link a video guide by a fun genji console gm called “Skidoo” but I can’t find a single trace of him anywhere! Maybe you can try digging into it good luck
Edit: apparently he deleted his channel because of family issues so if you really really want that vid you might be out of luck

Sorry if it feels unnatural, but that is the best way.
Genji console players are literally a meme to use pc users and probably what we make fun of is that fact that it’s so slow. You simply have to get used to it? I have heard of a console technique where you walk your crosshair into the target.
Well, that’s offensive to think of people in that way. They’re just playing a video game on their preferred platform. When you say walk your crosshair into a target, are you referring to just using the move stick only to adjust the crosshair? If so, that’s console aiming 101. Many players will use the look/aim stick for big movements and the move/strafe stick for small adjustments
Trial and error.
You just have to play with it and tinker with it until you get a level of consistency you’re comfortable with.
I’m not a god tier genji by any means, but I’ve found my comfort zone by switching from dual-zone to exponential ramp and turning my aim-smoothing down and my sensitivity up. You just have to find what feels good to you.
sorry if thats unhelpful
Watch this to get an idea for what all the settings do.
