ok, before i start, for all those “cool kids” out there, yes it’s a skill issue, yes im bad, yes…whatever…
now that that’s out of the way. im just curious how much lead time you are giving for kiriko. i go to the practice range to try to get a feel for leading targets at different distances, and seem to not have a problem, but in game, ill try leading the targets by the same amount and i hit nothing but air.
i have a very difficult time hitting anything with kiriko. so, does it take a considerable amount of lead? or just barely any at all? again, seems like the in game physics are a lot different than the ones in the practice room.

the projectiles are really slow so u have to aim farther away from the enemies current position then u normally would with let’s say echo or zen. dont hold left click either, try to aim each individual kunai. took me a week to get decent aim with her. if ur aim is really bad u could focus on healing and then spam the choke with ur crosshair at head level of the average squishy.

Same lead time. It’s just a matter of whether or not the player you’re targeting will move in that proper direction.
For best results, aim in the straight line it looks like they’re headed. They’ll strafe back and forth, but they’re still moving in one solid direction most of the time.

Her RMB moves at 70m/s, which is just faster than Genji Shuriken (60m/s) but significantly slower than most other projectile heroes.

thats what i tend to do…but i want to be able to do more with her than just heal. i get frustraed though when i feel like im doing it right, but am just whiffing air all the time…

I suggest practice in some aim training custom games. remember to create your own lobby. learn each heroes head hitbox if you don’t know it already and always spam shots at rough head level in matches.
P.S. You will never hit every shot the projectile is really slow.

Honestly, I just choose my targets on a purpose. I look for anyone who’s a little bit too still and go for it.
After that I target Widows, Hanzos or others that are peeking and holding roughly steady positions.
After that I knife into the crowd around the tank.
ill try to spam the choke and heal at the same time, but it’s odd. on my screen, i can be lined up with someone in the pack, and the projectile will look like it goes right for their head, but no contact is ever made…just a miss.

is your ping somewhat high usually?

ill check next time im in game.
here’s a game code if someone wants to take a look and see if they can tell me what they think.
please ignore the bad game play…its not good, but really im just wanting to understand why my aim is so off or why i seem to not make good hits.

here’s another one of me trying not to hold down teh fire button, but just trying to do it one at a time like someone suggested.

I skimmed and took a peak. My first thought is have you changed your cross hair yet? To me when I view your replay it shows the regular default one. I know it’s mainly personal preference but with a projectile as small as kunai you probably want a smaller crosshair.
it’s default, ill change it and see

also remember that the practice bots have much larger hitboxes, the training room could use a significant update if it was to ever be anything even remotely approximating a decent aim trainer
to be honest, and this may not be the optimal way to play kiriko idk im not a genius i have rocks and cobwebs upstairs on my best day but i use her to spam chokes, harass snipers or semi-stationary/slow-moving targets, and prioritze actually trying to kill people at mid to close range, which works very well coupled with her wall climb on the inferior shimada ninja brothers

yea this is a big one. You can easily find aim trainers with multiple different heroes jumping around in custom games, use those instead of the range.

here’s one where a couple times im aiming down the choke and hitting nothing
HNVAQ1
i just sit there like
as i spam a full clip down a choke and hit nothing while enemies pile through
