I want to become a better Reddit Lucio, but I just can’t seem to hit my shots, I never end up with at least 40% accuracy per game. I have decent movement, switching between modes, but I can never figure out to aim well. Do I stop holding W so much? Do I change my crosshair? Is it better to play with lower or higher sensitivity? I’m sure I’ve got his projectile speed down.
Lowering sensitivity may help, but it’ll hinder movement and reaction time - which I find to be more important for Lucio. Other than that it’s mostly learning to anticipate movement and lead appropriately.
I more or less hold down primary fire constantly, unless I feel a need to time reloads.
Try dragging your crosshair when you aim, his projectile. It kinda works like a Genji left click.
It could come down to your PC as well. How many FPS do you have?
It’s good enough…
I changed the way I play Lucio. I will only normally shoot down on targets I am descending on, or targets unaware of my presence. If I have to shoot even or upwards, I focus on escape and getting to high ground to descend on targets.
The only time this differs is if I am doing another task such as payload stalling or boops, and I prefer to descend on boops too.
practice makes perfect
When you are with your team spams at corners… It will give lot of ult charge.
For Reddit Lucio you have to act a bit like a Genji (but you don’t have an easy escape if you confirm a kill like him.)
You’re a duelist so don’t be too much confident when someone is coming to help your target.
With this in mind now try to learn to predict the movements of your target. Against Genji and Tracer land as much as possible quick melee use your boop to engage, disengage or finishing the job.
Then, aim for the Torso. It moves less than the legs and is bigger than the head.
Interesting I’ll be sure to give this a try thanks!
