How to add gifs to posts

I wanted to add an animation but i cannot link one it says i cannot although the feature is there

Basically as you make/read topics and posts on the forum your “Trust Level” goes up, and you have to be Level 3 to post images.

Level 3 Requirements:

• must have visited at least 50 days
• must have replied to at least 10 different topics
• of topics created in the last 100 days, must have viewed 25% (capped at 500)
• of posts created in the last 100 days, must have read 25% (capped at 20k)
• must have received 20 likes, and given 30 likes. These likes must be across a minimum number of different users (1/5 the number), across a minimum number of different days (1/4 the number). Likes cannot be from PMs.

If you dip below these requirements, you will be demoted until they are re-met.

Possible Requirements:

• Must not have received more than 5 spam or offensive flags (with unique posts and unique users for each, confirmed by a moderator)
• Must not have been suspended or silenced

(I’ve heard conflicting stories/information regarding these two. I can’t 100% vouch for them.)

There are some links that allow posting regardless of trust level. As far as I know, anyone can post any link to a blizzard website or forum page, and anyone can embed YouTube videos.

Links from other sources requires trust level 3.

Don’t think so. The list I copy-pasted is the default Level 3 requirements of forums that use Discourse like this one does. The devs probably didn’t include that particular feature.

Yeah I only remember getting PM’s from the bot with bad news.It’s missing a lot of features in general

well thats sad having to have a trust level i mean i paid a friggin fortune for this game even though its been out for years but hey thanks for the info @Lucky44
In actual fact i want my own custom avatar a gif animated one a personal touch you know? freedom of expression not like Europes kill the internet lol
