Y’all know how many god damn answers I’ve gotten to this question, A lot. So I’m hoping to solve this once and for all and for anyone else to unsure on her age like I am.
I thought she is 20 years old. Is this correct or no?

She is 20s, but she shouldn’t, because she should be closer to shimada’s age which is 30ish, but they made her 20

Pretty sure this is why they took ages (and the superior bios!) off the site. They don’t want people to know an exact number because then we expect time line consistency lol.
Someone used math based on the letter her mom wrote and came to the conclusion shes 24. i think thats a fair estimate kinda
Real Modern girl then. Be 24 and still not decide what she wanted to do with her life. Not until a bunch of thugs attacked her neighbors at least.

Ahem, for Kiriko’s map and her being “teased” by that letter… ugh it ticks me off.
It’s like they gave it to us that portion but they didn’t give us Kiriko til way later in Overwatch2 which has my feathers ruffled.
It should of all came out at once or very close together.
At least she got some ramp up, bad as it was. Sigma, Baptiste and so one basically got nothing. The effort Blizzard used to put into new hero releases has been pretty much lost.

She looks, acts, and talks like a teenager but has the age of an anime character.
I thought that maybe they would have released her not too long after but got delayed for whatever reason and decided to keep it silent until OW2
My guess, especially with her mommy issues is Kirko was designed as a Teenager but swapped to her 20’s later on in development to avoid issues. You’ll notice no OW hero is under age, heck I don’t think any one is even under 20 unless you count Orisa.
Dva isn’t much better, she acts like a teenage streamer/pop idol. Then we find out she’s in her 20’s as well, and if you trust the Short acts nothing like the cheerful personality we knew.
Simply put I think Blizzard just has no idea what it’s doing. One hand acts without the other and constant contradictions happen with the lore between the game, the comics, the shorts etc.
The inconsistency with ages is what confuses a lot of things, She was originally 16 then they changed her to 19 because some said it was cuz of the T rating she had to be 19 and others said because of the certain art that was made it would be less weird if she was 19 than 16, and now shes 20 by lore. I wish they would just stick to one age and keep it consistent
Didn’t even think about this, that’s hilarious. Guess the shimada’s bros were just hanging around with a 5 year old girl while they were 15 during the bowl cut era. Maybe Japan is different with that sort of thing because that wouldn’t happen where I’m from unless there are circumstances like she’s the sister of your mate.
She is/was 20 at the time she joined the Yokai

The only thing is, there’s no defined time after her joining Yokai so we don’t know how long in lore it’s been, now that she is in-game
Between 20 - 25. All we know is "early 20s. But mentaly? I would say 10…
Her mother trained both Shimadas and her together, so I would not see it as a problem. In pictures, we can see her mom, very little girl and two older boys, so I would say it makes completely sense, that Shimadas are over 30 and she is over 20.
What we know for a fact is Genji is 35 and Hanzo is 38 from. Despite their age in their bios being removed, we can add a year to their age because OW2 timeline takes place a year later
