How much time takes to recover aim after a break?

It’s probably 4 months that i don’t play, mainly because i’ve got to do a lot of stuff (VIM and GCC became kinda my daily bread, since i program in C), and because my mousepad and mouse feets were worn.
These days i finally got my new mousepad (a Dream Machines Pad L) and new mouse feets, and today i completed the PSA (Perfect Sensibility Approximation) method to find my new sensibility.
So, the question is: how much time takes usually to get again a good aim, after a long break, counting that i even changed mousepad?

Had a very long break a few Months ago too, it took me about 1-2 Days to get fully
acclimatized again but with the same Gear

Hey there, I’d suggest you to take a fresh fat carrot and start pressing it with your primary hand. (Right for me). Cucumbers and Carrots provide good resistance and they don’t over do it like most grip training gadgets do. Doing so regularly will re-introduce a mouse’s resistance to your thumb and knuckle joints. Once you feel you can grip it well without breaking it, proceed to playing custom CSGO/Practice range. Instead of hitting headshots, go for the “T Methodology”, in this you aim at the throat but try to aim down if you can’t track temporarily. The aim of this training is to re-condition your forearm into re-adjusting it’s muscle tensions that provide ample grip and precision without twitching. You will find that instead of hitting body shots with the T method, slowly you will start aiming upwards yourself. Give it a shot, I do this myself.
Also always stretch first before playing comp. Overwatch. This includes a waist twist, chair back crack, forearm twist, and a upwards and downwards palm stretch. You will thank me if you do so, I do it myself and it works wonders
Best of luck!

You can probably try all kinds of tricks and whatnot, but in the end it will just depend on the person.

There are people that get up to speed after a couple of hours, while some might need even up to a week.
