Small tip.
Don’t play competitive on level 25. Your game sense isn’t great yet. It’s better to start playing it around level 100 or level 75.
If you get placed in bronze on level 25 will it be hard to climb out of it thanks to other low ranked players and smurf accounts.
Again, this is just a tip. It’s completely up to you to decide on what level you want to play competitive.

If you want to level up fast, join a full group for bonus exp, and speed run training mode.
You can, but I hardely regretted it after. I did my placements at level 25 and got placed 1200, I dropped to 958 and stayed in Bronze for 3 seasons (at the time 9 months), then I was level 250 and I tough I belonged in Platinium, and I regretted doing that. Now I’m 2200, my peak is at 2450, and I’m still not Plat, at level 415…

If you want to know, its roughly 10 hours to get to level 25, don’t play immediately unless you feel very confident, I went straight in to comp and got 2880.
I would wait a few more levels to 50 or 75.
I remember when I first did my first placements, I hit SR 42 (on the old 1-100 scale). I will note, I was already at my first prestige when Competitive first launched though. So I will say it does not hurt to keep practicing in Quick Play before starting Competitive. Furthermore, play several custom games using the Competitive rule set (even if you just set up a bunch of A.I. for teammates and opponents). That will give you the chance to become acquainted with the Competitive Ruleset.
Depends. If you win matches you get a little more exp than if you lose.

It took me about 15 hours on my alt playing mostly QP and Arcade Mystery Heroes.

This is what I thought too in the beginning when I started out playing… I grinded QP until I was 2 stars. Did placements for the first time and got 1500 then dropped to 1000 but now I’m masters on main account and diamond on this one.
What you said couldn’t be more wrong. It isn’t hard to climb out and QP is not good practice at all.

Yeah I weren’t so I would have prefered if I did my placements at level 100 or more, so I might be plat ^^

I repeat do not play comp at level 25 unless you want to be stuck on bronze.
you should only go on comp if you are 100% certain you understand the game.
I personaly don’t see why anyone would want to play comp but hey, its your game.

Depends. I’m trying to get my alt to 25 but mm insists on taking absolutely forever to throw me into low level games that I’m explicitly trying to avoid. Like I can get games on my main 3x faster at a given time. I’d group with friends not only for the exp bonus, but to get out of the noob queue.
