Seems like every one of their game’s playerbases are unhappy, and every game is bleeding players. They’ve already cut the Heroes of the Storm team and reduced Diablo to nothing but a mobile game. Investors are leaving, Bungies has left, stocks are falling every week. I’m having a hard time picturing a successful Blizzard two years from now.

I would say the Activision side of AB is in worse shape. If anything happens to COD, they’re done, it’s all they’ve got.
I think there’s still time to get things together but they need to stop being so greedy. They are ruining their relationship with their customers. Activision wasn’t as disliked as EA is just two or three years ago, they’ve taken a turn to being completely money-grubbing very recently. If they reverse that, and make some good games, it’s not too late. I would rather they reverse course and survive, honestly.

Well they still have 3 games in the top 15 on twitch so it going to be a while
I will say, the future doesn’t look so bright.
Right now they’re heading towards SEGA status. They’ll still exist in four years, but the amount of influence will be dramatically reduced.

… Diablo mobile will do far better than you think , and if you think that’s all they have for that franchise you weren’t listening.
Blizzard isn’t some limping along wounded deer. They’re still very profitable and have solid franchises with solid playerbases that other studios would kill to have, they’re having a cruddy year though.

If they don’t come out with something REALLY good at Blizzcon then expect the rest of the rats to start jumping. A lot of fan boys will disagree with that but I imagine the Bioware community thought the same until their servers got shut down due to lack of payment for the power bill.
I love overwatch and world of warcraft and I cannot wait for warcraft3 reforged and classic wow. What the heck are you even talking about, Blizzard is hella amazing!
It´s not Blizzard which is worrying me, it´s Activision.
They are getting kicked out by Bungie so they might do something really nasty to Blizzard

Bungee doesn’t matter. They wanted a CoD level game from the deal and got Destiny.
Destiny is not going to be the mash hit they wanted from Bungie
and now Activision probably wants to milk Blizzard to cover their loss

The way they are currently progressing and treating the majority of their customers… The complete disppointment that was
Diablo Immortal for their Hardcore PC playerbase
The confirmed continuation of following the Mobile trend (once again with the vast majority of their playerbases being PC across all their games)
HOTS was cut down because it wasn’t profitaable enough being a Free to play game (Hint for all the Pro- Overwatch going free to play people )
Overwatch, the big juggernaut of Blizzard has recources stripped away from the actual game to make it a show instead (They already got it put into Humble Monthly and experts start theorizing about it going free to play this year, which is another bandaid, panic solution to expand the playerbase once again).
Bliizard is in a decline… and they probably already know it… Blizzard used to be top tier all across the board but i feel like… with the ever growing influence of Big Daddy Activision they’ll keep going down…
They might get some major upwind again if they follow swift in Bungie’s footsteps… but with how it’s going with Activisions influence growing on Blizzard… I’d give it till next year untill interventions will be in order, if not worse.

it worked at the start, but it can only go downhill
