I myself use 1000 DPI on my mouse and 10 In game sens in game. I have a small mouse pad but it feels great in my opinion. What do you guys use?
800 dpi, 3.85 in game sens, current mouse is the Xenics Titan G Mini
800 dpi, 15 in-game. 12,000 edpi.
800 DPI, 6 Sens. A full sweep along my mouse pad is a bit over a full 360 degree turn.
8 In game Sens
- 1800 DPI for Projectile Heroes
- 2000 DPI for tracking heroes and some Hitscan
- 2200 for Snipers and heroes that require flicking at close range
I have a button on my mouse that lets me swap DPI on the fly.
What rank is your hitscan turning at the speed of sound?
So keep 8 all the time and swap between the 3? Interesting. I’ve been having a difficult time finding the right spot. Causing all types of inconsistancy
I aim with the wrist, not the arm. So for me its just micro movements.
But I play DPS at a Diamond level when I am actually try-harding.
I use a bunch of different settings for a bunch of different heroes. What feels right one day feels off the next, so I switch a lot. The curse of playing nearly every hero I guess. EDPI ranges from 1870 to 4860.
One day I’ll actually sit down and set just one DPI and then adjust all my in-game sens to work with it. Until then I just hit my DPI up/down until I find the one that feels right for whoever I’m playing.
Yup, I find that there are many different aiming styles and some heroes work better for me with a different DPI setting.
There are some that have unique situations that put them at 1800 when other similar heroes would be 2000 (Baptiste for example I prefer at 1800).
I also aim with my wrist, people never understand why my sense etc is so high… most people copy the pros even if they are wrist aimers
I saw you said you wrist aim. I do the same so gonna give your setup a try. My dpi is similar from what i remember i set it at, between 1200 and 2k but my ingame sens is 20 right now which obviously is too much
800 DPI and 6-6.75 depending on the hero.
Finger Grip + Hybrid Wrist/Arm.
Rival 310 Steelseries
4000 dpi and 10-13 depending on hero.
I use 800 DPI with 5.15 in game sens, slow enough to aim far down range without overcorrecting past target, and fast enough to track mobile targets in CQC.
Also hybrid aimer - Wrist for long range precision aiming and arm for CQC.
Current:
Wrist aimer
1000 dpi in Logitech gaming software
5.41 in game sens (zoom sens slightly lower than default on Ana and Widow). Also a few minor adjustments to a few characters +/- .5
G502 Proteus mouse, Hotline MouseSkates 3.0 Comp, (3.6 grams fr and 3.6 grams rr)
G440 mouse pad
I also have a button set on mouse to switch dpi lower or higher (800/1200) when i am feeling i need a change for a pesky tracer or certain tank/support changes midgame.
Thinking of going 800 dpi and playing with sens again when I get a new mouse pad next month. Also thinking of trying these maybe “tiger gaming” white mouse skates that have been sitting here for 9 months with no packaging.
I was originally an early cs player that primarily played deagle/scout in 1.6.
1200 dpi 11.80 or 12 sens depends on the day
Experiment around a lot, it’ll take getting used to. But eventually you’ll find something that feels comfortable and consistent.
I’m a bad example of that. I copied DSPStanky’s settings at first but made adjustments for heroes other than Lucio after that.
1600 DPI and 11 sens in game. I have a very tiny mouspad, and I have to compensate unfortunately. This makes me miss more shots than I should, but I got used to it.
800 DPI, 4.00 Sens.
I play most hitscan heroes, mainly Ashe.
