As much as I can recall, I think it was two years ago, and it happened only once. :smiley:

Once, it was an enemy Mercy that healed 80% of her team’s damage. I never saw her. Ever. It was crazy how well she positioned herself.

Well, yeah, think about it. Most people vote for their own team. 8 votes would require at least 2 votes from the enemy team (assuming everyone votes for the same person on yours).

In vs ai it happens sometimes, but people seem to actively try to get someone to legendary there. :ok_hand:

Otherwise? It’s a wonder if more than 6 votes are given out in total after a game nowadays.

I think 2 or 3 times total. It basically only happens if someone single-handedly saves/wins the game, and the play that did it not only shows up in the POTG but is actually impressive in some way.

I think I got it once myself, when I barely made it to the point in overtime on Nepal and 1v4’d with Hanzo to win it.

I’ve gotten it like 3 times. Two of which I remember the games vividly.

Lucio-Numbani: This game was amazing I had 5 gold medals wher eI was completely destroying the enemies supports every round and having sound barrier up anytime things started going bad. I think I got at least one vote from the enemy Pharah who I would consistently use the high walls to skate up to her and sniper her out of the sky.

Roadhog- Anubis. On both attack and defense I dominated with once again carrying 5 golds. The attack was literally on heavy handed push which I killed two people with my first 2 hooks got on the point and Ulted the last defenders. The second point was even nuttier because I got a couple hook kills, hide behind the point and then pinned half their team against a wall with my second Ult.

My other one I think was on Rein but I don’t recall doing anything amazing other then my pin kills being really good

I didn’t see it more than 10 times (not counting custom games),and I play since the start of 2017.

I’ve only ever seen it in the PvE event modes, since you only need 4 votes (your 3 teammates vote for you and then you vote for yourself.)

Never seen a true 10-vote one even when the game was new and people still cared.

I got 11 out of 12 votes playing Junk 1.0

Gotten legendary a couple of times. But now, people just leave even before the POTG runs. No one cares about cards, just as no one cares about the DPS of the game montage.

I’ve seen about 30 and gotten around 3 :smiley: but to be fair most of them were in the early days of Overwatch, when people were a bit more positive in general. I miss that.

I got one on Hammond a few weeks ago though, which felt reaaaaaally good, especially since my Hammond is still very inconsistent.

I did once or twice,one of em was me. I saved the first point on volskaya by myself as McCree with deadeye. Wiped the whole team minus a Genji but I finished him off.

I’ve seen it a few times but it’s been a few months now.

Once in vs AI. That’s it. And I’ve been playing 3 years.

I have twice and one was the very first OW match I’ve ever played. It was my friend playing D.Va

The second time it was in a match of Mystery heroes and the only two cards were both Mercy’s. I was low-key upset because I was the Mercy that didn’t get any votes at all.

I got it once when I got 9 enviro kills in a match.

It is difficult as you basically need a salty team to not ragequitt and vote for the other team, all on the same person. It happened more at release, I rarely see it now. There was a Mercy who got it recently, my sister and I always try to get people to the 5 vote mark anyways because the border changes.

I’ve seen it twice I think.

Now even getting 5 votes are rare.
