How many times did we warn you?

Us “doomers” kept saying the majority did not like the game, yet some of the forum goers kept gaslighting. Now we have public reviews that show the real state of the community, and these very same people act like they don’t matter.

How many times do we have to warn you all before it sinks in? Now it is too late to fix this game, and the people sticking their heads in the sand are to blame.

Yall enabled blizz.

Honestly 90% of this forum have been doomers since OW2 launched

Thats about spot on to the steam reviews.

It seems like the doomers were realists. Its almost like the sample sizes proved to show similar results

Here we go with the silly validation thing again

You, personally helped kill this game. Be proud.

Im just sad yall had to win that battle.

Dissatisfied players are always more vocal and more likely to leave reviews. Pretty much all multiplayer games get worse reviews over time, and OW has been out for years. I would be absolutely shocked if it wasnt super negative. The game isn’t dying by any means tho.

You seem to misunderstand. We had 50 million accounts for OW1.

The majority quit and moved on without a noise.

The whole “i told you so” mentality is so silly to me.

Im sad that I was right.

Wish I was wrong. I take no pride in you all killing this game.

All Im saying is that it shouldn’t come as a surprise that this games name is mud.

You all made sure it would be

Right in what aspect? It’s not like it takes a rocket scientist to know negative reviews will happen.

Like who doesn’t expect it?

I have been really positive and hopeful up until OW2 launched with lackluster content. I was still pretty neutral afterwards, but since the cancellation of hero missions/talent trees, my opinion on OW as a franchise is very negative.
I still enjoy the gameplay of it, but that’s about all good I can say about it.

You are telling me about 90% of these reviews are fake?

Are you implying the 50 million ow1 players wouldnt come in to help the reviews?

50 million is a lot more. Where are all the OW1 players?

How is, say, Battlebit Remastered getting so well reviewed right now?

The steam counts won’t include everyone, most players are still going to be on battlenet. Plus they just had a horrific 2 seasons, where they admitted to a huge scandal lying to everyone about PvE while also releasing the worst hero in OW history (who is still to this day getting gigabuffs to make him competitive). Everyone was doom and gloom and angry.

I’d expect their player counts right now are pretty low, but it’ll be fine if they just move forward with the new content they’re planning.

Yes.

Actual negative reviews are drowned out by review spammers. People who took the time to put actual criticism aren’t noticed between the “ow bad” or “blizz bad” comments.

It isn’t about positive reviews, but reviews that state genuine feedback.

What qualifies genuine feedback to you?

Why are you the arbitor. You seem quite bias in that regard

The fact is, the OW1 playerbase is nowhere to be seen on these reviews. 50 million strong.

Or maybe they are, and.they just don’t like OW2. Thats where I am. OW1 was one of the greatest games ever made. OW2 is a disappointment. The player numbers and reviews reflect that.

Nobody was reviewing OW1 poorly.

The game is not dying because it already is dead

Dissatisfied players are equally vocal compared to those who REALLY love the game. Satisfied ones leave ‘reviews’ by inviting their friends, streaming, spending hours grinding and improving while dissatisfied ones only write a simple comment clearly stating what is wrong yet you choose to ignore all the logical reasoning with clear evidence.

There are plenty of old games that have managed to keep extremely good and positive reviews because their devs know what they are doing and they have a clear plan and if the plan changes they state it publicly instead of trying to silently move on.

And no, not ‘pretty much all’ multiplayer games get worse reviews over time because by making such statement you would be aiming at about 80% of overall game library and believe it or not, there aren’t so many negatively reviewed games. For example look at csgo, dota 2, minecraft, tf2, call of duty, these are all very old games by overwatch terms and they are doing insanely well to this very day

I know you’re not referring to the Steam reviews, but I can’t figure out what you are referring to.

I like 5 vs 5 and Im not sorry for supporting that.

Pve has been a disappointment overall and that definitely did hurt the game. They withheld too much for too long and the pve we got wasnt worth the wait

I dont like push mode and never supported that. I think everyone knows ow2 could have been handled better. Its a done deal at this point, if you dont want to play then dont.

Exactly what I said. More than random emotes or 3 words.
