How many skins are in the free pass?

Earlier this year we only got 2 new lunar new year legendary skins. AndyB went on the forums and said Overwatch would actually be getting more skins this year than any other year.

For clarity… did he REALLY only mean monetized skins?

Are there enough free legendary skins in the battlepass to keep that statement true?

The reason I specify “free” is because those missing non-recolor skins from last events of Overwatch, would have all been free.

The battlepass has 5 legendries 1 mythic and 3 epics. Only the 2 epics are free.

So yes, they screwed us over with that lunar event.

Actually 5 legendaries and 1 mythic and 1 epic are paid skin.

Free:

  • Newest support hero, Kiriko (for new players who won’t have her already)
  • 2 Epic Skins
  • 1 Weapon Charm
  • 2 Souvenirs
  • 1 Highlight Intro
  • 14 additional items (emotes, victory poses, name cards, sprays, player icons, etc.)
  • Prestige Tier Titles (8 earnable titles available only after completing the entire pass)

Paid:

  • Immediate access to Kiriko
  • 20% XP Battle Pass Boost
  • 1 Mythic Skin
  • 5 Legendary Skins and 1 Epic Skin
  • 3 Play of the Game Intros
  • 4 Weapon Charms
  • 3 Emotes
  • 3 Souvenirs
  • 6 Poses
  • 6 Name Cards
  • 30+ additional cosmetic rewards
