Probably no big deal depending on the context, short ban or suspension.

I’d say the harshest punishment would probably be from telling someone to kill themselves/other IRL threats, followed by bigotry. General abusive chat that doesn’t rise to either of those isn’t a huge deal, but it depends on the context and frequency too.

System is automated, you can say nothing and it will still suspend you. The ToS is also written in such a way the moment someone reports you then you have commited a bannable offense.

Like go check how many employees Blizzard has then imagine how many report daily come in, system is completely automated.

So do u have any idea how many reports it takes? Maybe it resets every week or the reports you got from a month ago will still stack up

If you’re getting suspended from the game because of Abusive Chat, it’s at the point where the next one very well could be a permanent ban.

I’ve been quite toxic myself, but I never ‘insulted’ other people. I never got suspended in 4 years.
The only people that I report that get punished are the ones that ‘***’ a lot.

My main got suspended for Abusive Chat a few years ago and I kept doing it and it then turned into a permanent ban.

My sisters ex got permabanned because she kept telling people to kill themselves. And this was after my sister spent $100s on lootboxes for her account, lol.
