I’ve had some incredibly long tank queues in role queue (5:00>) and yesterday was having instant queues in open queue. My first thought was that everyone is trying it out but then I got placed nearly in masters while my highest role queue sr is 3111 on tank which makes me think that there are less people in open queue. Anyone have any idea what the distribution could be? (I know it’s brand new but I’m still curious)
Once people remember how bad the game was without 2-2-2, no one will play it and the complaining will stop. And if people do like it, less dps queue times.
I’m sure there is an audience for Open Queue.
Considering the popularity BattleRoyales, which are chaotic messes of gameplay, with quick queue times.
And besides which, the mere existence of it, improves Queue Times in RoleQueue, by having OpenQueue soak up a lot of excess DPS players.
I loved 6 DPS, or at the very least, 5 DPS 1 Support.
It was fun and fast, as the existence of Tanks just slows the game down naturally.
I’m just enjoying the ability to truly flex again.
Lol, imagine if they had a game mode with no Tanks, no Mei, no Widow or Hanzo, and no Ult charge gain from dealing damage or healing.
Many many players, myself included, have stated in many threads throughout these forums that we prefer (in my case, vastly prefer) role-less queue over 222
The game was in my opinion far far better before 222 added many severe problems to the game, including but not limited to the excessive queuing time for dps players
Many people from all roles have been playing qp classic, and many of those will be (or are already) also playing this new role-less competitive mode. I also believe many dps players will shift their playing time from 222 competitive to this new mode to escape excessive wait times
That’s just QP classic with extra steps
Minus the part where one team is like that, but the other has a smurf Widow and a Reinhardt
I’m playing it, it’s the same as 222, but I am able to switch to more roles.
It’s also apparent how broken DPS are.
