Title says it all, I want to know who can and can’t superjump out of the fellow Mercy mains.
If you don’t play Mercy (or you do, it doesn’t matter) and play regularly I want to know how many times you’ve ACTUALLY encountered a Mercy on the enemy team or yours that knows how to superjump and use it correctly?
Personally I can superjump and use it a lot, it’s great for positioning and getting out of tight situations.
(This is not about it being a bug so don’t bring it up)
I do it, but I’m still not great at it when things start getting hectic. Had a few not so proud moments where I ended up using GA too early and flung myself into the enemy team rather than up in the air 
Hahaha, I’ve been using it for a couple months and I still encounter mistakes. Specifically being too close to a teammate and using it, so it just fails and I get murdered.
I can do it reliably 99% of the time. It is really useful but requires a lot of match awareness. Gotta know where the hitscans are or your not making it back down 
Exactly, do you play on pc as well? I play on console so my superjumps don’t go so well sometimes.

How many times have I seen it? Every now and then. How do I feel about it? I just aim for her in the sky. Pretty simple.

I’m pc so that helps can really tweak the height and direction a lot easier with m/k gives you a lot more fine control. I’ve been using it for long enough now that i can pull off some crazy precise manuevers. I’m just glad so many people have so much trouble shooting straight up
I found out how to do it, but I’ve only used it in-game like once. I’ve always played with toggle crouch and toggle GA so having to hold the buttons down is really annoying and throwing off my game.
I might just go back to toggle and forget super jump, not like it’s gonna be around forever.
Aw that’s awesome. I’m like a god at it and love flying around the map to get better positioning. I never see anybody that can do it on console besides my friend.
Also, you can superjump off of HIGH ground as well if you didn’t know already. It requires more skill to pull off but you use the same technique as a normal superjump, the only thing different is the timing of when to jump at the end of crouch+GA.
Its hard to find anyone who actually plays Mercy much compared to all the Ana wannabes. If you play at the head of the team as a Tank you’ll rarely see what’s behind you.
Haha yeah i love doing that, oh and for anyone else having issues. You cant perform it from a jump, I think thats what stops a lot of people pulling it off.
As to others i really dont think its going anywhere its been in the game in 1 form or another for years now and taking it out would require a rebalance of mercy which the devs seem to be completely uninterested in
You don’t have to hold them down!!! I play with toggle crouch (which is when you only crouch when you hold down the button right?) and I click and release the buttons that are required for superjump.
I use it a fair bit, mostly for getting to high ground, as I love my high ground.
That is when I play mercy which isn’t often these days.
The question is not know how to, pretty everyone does.
The question should be: how many of you can pull it off reliably in hectic situation without it getting you killed?
Almost every Mercy player can use it before or after a teamfight. In the middle of the fight is a whole different story. I rarely see Mercys pull it off without getting a Widow HS.
I say with me it’s around 50-60%. Around 20% of the time I miss the jump because I am too focused on what’s going on and around 20% of the time I feed into enemy hitscans.
I saw a mercy do it twice to dodge me on PS4.
The first one was crazy, picture hollywood point two, the open gate outside the attacker spawn, im full flanking as gengu from the left from the defender spawn.
She did a descending res on the soldier i just killed and then immediately, instantly super-jumped to her Winston while I was trying to headshot her in res, amazing compsure.
Unfortunately Winston couldn’t save her from a young gengu but I sent her a message after the game because I know i could never do that so quickly and under pressure while being headshot on CONSOLE.
Yeah it requires so much positioning awarness to not get pasted but once you get there it is an invaluable tool and I also love just getting high enough in time to dodge a doomfist 1 shot
I’m the worst at superjump. I sometimes manage to do it and sometimes not. If the game gets fast and stressing I find it difficult to achieve. Anyway, I don’t think it’s a very smart tactic since you are an easy target on the sky. I rather do long jumps past my teammates.
About how many times I’ve seen it… just a few times actually. I don’t see how this is a problem.
I don’t see any but the case surely gave more visibility on the issue and a lot more now know how to use it. Also judging by the number of mercy mains who doesn’t want it fixed, i assume there are plenty who are abusing it.
