on 20th jan i sent a ban appeal and still didnt recieve a message. Does every ban appeal get a response or do they get ignored when they decide to refuse the appeal? I did see the rule about that any further appeals will get ignored, but this is my first and only one. And i do believe the appeal is worth investigating

any idea on what the ban was for? just asking anyways for context and such. But hopefully they should get around to you in about a week or two. If not them i’m sorry unfortunately. your report might have been lost or they are ignoring it. I’d say give another 7 days since if it was on the 20th they can take up to 2 weeks unfortunately.
You can see the average response time when you send the request. Generally is 1-2 days.
i had a whole post about it here, but it got removed. it was for communication. I played hazard in comp, my new fav hero, and got the enemy team mad about it. i had a 2 week mute before, in may last year i think, which wasnt for cursing or harrassment, but probably mostly for unnecessary spams. so now, i really really play it safe.
so those 3 people in that match called me awful names, i responded with things like “uhuh, whatever”. after one of them called me a re**rd, i said “wow youre a weirdo” and people on forums said that was the mistake i made, some thought “weirdo” is a neutral term and shouldnt be taken as very offensive. i also think i said in chat to report these 3, which may have caused the report wave for me.
next morning i got a ban

ah, unfortunate. i do hope it can be fixed but you may need to be patient sadly.
also PS, the game has a bad problem currently where people can report bomb someone and if you get i think 4 or more in a short time you can be banned i think. don’t quote me on that but it is a possibility.

huh thats weird. I made a risk of sending the 2nd appeal. i was curious week ago, because after sending the appeal, i couldnt find it in the “my active tickets” page. archived list was empty too. now my 2nd appeal actually appeared on the active list. damn i hope they respond. i was so sure i sent it last week
