How long is a suspension?

I was suspended, technical service isn’t helping. Any idea how long suspension typically are?

Is there a way to figure out what was the infraction either? I played for 7 years, 1300 hours, endorsement level bouncing between 4/5 and I got shut down without warning. No emails or notice, just a red banner when i tried to log in.

Suspension lengths vary. It should tell you how long yours is somewhere on the bnet launcher. (I don’t know where exactly, it’s just something I heard from others who have been suspended).

Between 1hr and eternity

It would be nice if their stupid game masters could just, i don’t know, tell you what it was and how ling the punishment is. Then again, this is a company that said to check my associated email for more details and didn’t send one.

Most of us believe that the GMs are actually bots and their replies to our queries are created using chatGPT. It’s very difficult to get an actual useful response on your first try, keep bombarding them with support tickets to escalate the issue, eventually a human will probably answer you.

I’ll try again. No wonder this game’s playerbase is dropping harder than Owen Hart.

I get that reference, which worries me.

they really need to come up with a re-design for ALL games that allow a person to access the game and then gray out the modes that a person is suspended from. With a timer that says the duration, the details of the violation(s) and an in-game appeals someone can do. With some sort of mediation on it.

I get the system, but what I have a problem with is their lack of communications so people learn how to correct their problem. Blizzard use to be good about it and talk to people about their issues and discuss things on what to do next time. Typically it was 1-strike, a temp ban, and then a perma ban.

I have a big bucket of popcorn here, soda, and a tv remote waiting for the day that someone lashes out . I could see protestors standing outside of various game studios with pick-it :nose: signs. (thinking spongebob). and crazy people that lay down in the road blocking cars over things… (its not the first time in Merica)…

Behavior interactive inc being the #1 company behind frivolous bans.

In your Battle.net app you can see the length of your suspension in the bottom left corner.

stop lying, you dont get supsended without a warning

For the most part all I ever posted in games was memes. It was ok for years, but last month something went sideways and i was suspended.

The system is also currently in overdrive due to defense matrix. Lots of threads have been popping up over the last week saying they didn’t do anything but it seems like people are suggesting it’s from having 3rd party software running at the same time, even if it’s a modder for a different game.

Hopefully it is. About the only thing ive done differently recently was calling out bad players who were feeding and needed to switch.

Otherwise i got no email notice until i couldn’t log in.

Did you check your e-mail? usually they send something that tells you how long but I was recently suspended but no e-mail , so maybe their system is broke but I did ticket and they told me until October 13th.

I checked my email and my junk folder. I even got a response to my ticket in the correct email when I submitted a ticket.

Yep they suck, it took 3 days before I got a response so I would just play on a different account until then or just play a different game.

I hope i don’t lose my primary because i have so much stuff on it.

It would be nice to KNOW WHAT THE DAMN INFRACTION WAS so i wouldn’t do it again.

I dont have a primary anymore cause I am afraid to lose it so I dont play on it other than AI and target range. Haven’t play a real game on it since ow1.

Now days I’m in a Soft quit stance for this game and only play it on throw accounts when bored which is more and more lately.

Btw, how did you find the length if your suspension?

It would be nice to KNOW WHAT THE DAMN INFRACTION WAS so i wouldn’t do it again.

They won’t tell you and you’ll never find out I’m afraid. All you can do is never post anything in chat, at all, and try to use that in defense the next time trolls get you auto-banned.
