I’ve put in a few hours and I suck really bad. Being a bad Widow isn’t very fun.
How long might it take to be decent and not a throw pick?
My advice is to work on aiming via either the workshop aim modes, or use aim hero on steam. I used aim hero to sharpen my widow skills within a few weeks.
Remember to go with a low sens and aim with your arm as well.

depending on your talent… i would say most people need around 300-500 hours.
Edit: on the other side, good is a relative attribute

it might need less time if you already have a bunch of hourse with a very similar character.
But as of how the heroes are different in OW, at least for me, playing the others doesn’t help much. Mabye Ashe overlaps a bit with Widdow.

Approximately forever. Widow is a hero you need to constantly practice, her skill requirement is just that high.
if sniping is not your thing, probably never.
If the forums are to be believed you are basically a god from the moment you pick her on the select screen.
In all seriousness it’s gonna vary from person to person. Might take you 10 hours, might take you 1,000. Depends on you.
It will take as long as it takes.
Just keep practicing.
I played nothing but widow for 3 days, and dominated a few games with her. In my experience, not long.
