How it feel after I spend $270 to hire ow coach called PSEV

I understand that everyone is busy, and I am as well. Moreover, English is not my native language. But today I am willing to take some time off to write this article and tell everyone about the experience of choosing PSEV(REMOVED) as my ow coach at </Metafy.com>. Based on my experience, many people who have been deceived do not tell others about it because they feel that others will think they are foolish. I welcome those who have had similar experiences to share their stories and expose the unethical behavior of these coaches within the community.

I wish so bad I can post all links of evidence but my level is not high enough,so the forums force me to remove all links of hard evidence, but what I tell is all ture.No one write so many words just for fun.

For those who don’t have time to read the chat records, you can directly read my summary. (I only speak about my own experience, and I don’t know if others have had similar experiences. However, a person’s style and values are difficult to change frequently, so there is a high possibility that the same thing that happened to me could happen to any other player.)

His scam strategy can be summarized as follows:
Step 1: He told me that if I used PayPal, I could purchase the training content at a lower price, enticing me not to use </Metafy.com> for payment. This way, I would be unable to complain about his misconduct.

Step 2: He would schedule training sessions and then ignore them. After apologizing, he would reschedule and then ignore again.Of course, various excuses are inevitable, like his boss suddenly needed him for work or that he thought he had replied ,or suddenly had an urgent matter to attend to.These happened too many times, so I believe he did it intentionally, as the reason will be explained later now. When I lost patience and requested a refund, he told me that he had a no-refund policy, not just for the money,he also will stop to work on my case right away.I start to contact him since 5/10/23 but the moment he would wait for is when I requested a refund from him. So I guess you can feel how does he play this game

After I spend all these money and been waiting over 1 month,I only got a 12min voice chat with him to provide my information and one screen shot from his phone shows he wrote with few words. In the chat, he said he has more in his computer. However, after I canceled my program, he refused to provide any other written assessment content (only God knows if he actually had any other unfinished drafts).

I strongly agree with this statement:the way you do anything is how you do everything.I hope everyone comes forward to expose these coaches with unethical behavior so that every player can enjoy the happiness that games bring within a clean community.

For those who have time to read more details, please continue reading
1 As I mentioned earlier when he saw that I would publish a complete, unedited chat record, he immediately edited a message in which he deleted information stating that he actually had very little time to evaluate my videos. He also mentioned that it was up to him to decide when to start the training officially, without specifying how long I would have to wait. It was a completely unscrupulous expression on his part.

2 He accused me of being rude, but completely avoided addressing the evidence I presented because he knew that the truth was undeniable. Let me list the inconsistent details of his words and actions.
2.1 5/10 he said“would you want to buy it through paypal? It’s cheaper and avoids fees for you”
Fact:he charge the same program as $250 though Metafy but he ask for $270 from paypal

When I choose not to use the platform to buy sessions,I’m already lost my protection
2.2 5/17 He said “Tomorrow I’ll send you some scenarios”
Fact:I reminded him I need Scenarios,he said “Omg I forgot ,supper sorry !!!”and that just the begin

2.3 5/19 he comfirmed we would meet on 5/30 at 6PM
Fact:no show,he said “hey,f**k im sosorry my boss called me in and I forgot about this”

2.4 5/31 he said “Tomorrow might work a bit better”
Fact:no reply until 6/1,”Sorry I thought I responded”

2.5 6/1 he said”could you do 6PM your time?just wanna make sure I can prewatch those videos”
Fact:zero review in most of videos since I upload to YouTube

2.6 6/8 he said”Hey,can you meet Wed?how does 6PM EST work”
Fact:I send 2 reply to him,but he reply after a week said”F**k in sorry something came up”

From 5/10/23 to 6/18/23, during this time period, his actions basically consisted of scheduling meetings, forgetting, apologizing with excuses, rescheduling meetings, forgetting again, apologizing with excuses, and repeating this cycle continuously. When you requested a refund, that’s when he achieved his goal. He got the money without having to do much of anything.

You’ve really gone ham to put this identical post everywhere in the last hour. You’ve already put it in several places on reddit (and got it removed for spamming their pages.)

I get you’re annoyed, but this feels like a crusade.

I have no idea who this guy is and can’t find any information on him. How the hell did you find this guy?

The fact he seems like a ghost already seems sheisty, did that not ring alarm bells for you?

Paying for coaching in this game if you don’t play this game for a living is just insanity. It’s a video game, not a second job.

Finally, you know you can request a refund on paypal, right? If they don’t refund your money you can dispute the claim within 180 days and paypal will investigate them.

$270 for “coaching” in a game.

Also contact Paypal and never pay someone to coach you in a video game ever again. Save your money.

I’m all for people spending their money how they see fit. But whoever this guy was rinsed the OP.

OP, contact PayPal and request a refund. I hope you get your money back. But if you don’t then use this as a harsh lesson to be a little more cautious when paying for services online.

Anyone can pretend to be an e-sports coach online and scam you.

In future, ask for credentials, ask if they can contact some of their previous clients. Ask around. If there is no information on them, then it is safe to say they’re probably not genuine.

This goes for a lot of things, not just coaching.

You do not need coaching to get good at this game. You need practice and to be able to self-reflect and think critically and dispassionately about your skills. A coach will not turn you into an aim-god, or a contender: practice will.

flag for spam everyone

As far as I can tell, the guy did an accidental double post here and is now trying to delete the duplicate.

I flagged the duplicate so hopefully a mod can swing by and sort it out.

EDIT, ngl I thought it was spam too at first.

i don’t want to be rude, just can’t find the delete button on my side.I only able to edit the post, not delete it.

These forums have turned into Groundhog Day.

no i know, don’t worry hon, i see you posted it twice on accident so i said to report this one to get it down while leaving the other one up, :purple_heart:
