Must be playing on high ping too, since he is from EU. Also always has a pocket in like any clip I see of him. Plays around cover which on certain maps makes it hard for hitscan to even get an angle without being in a bad position.
…maybe hitscan aren’t as broken as everyone makes out…?

Obviously, but even further to the point, they are not as good in the match up as “common knowledge” dictates. That might be more relevant as hitscan is definitely not bad. It is just not as egregiously broken as the Genji mains would have you believe.

Mercy, you have to hit I think 4 body shots with Cassidy (within 25 meters) however against a GM level player with good positioning and mercy making it almost impossible to kill heroes who she pockets since her healing goes to almost 70 per second, it’s understandable. Also yznsa is just a good player (which kinda goes with game sense) so it doesn’t matter Cassidy solider are extremely powerful right now. Lastly there’s obviously a skill difference between rank 1 and 500 in T500 but to get rank 1 a big portion of it is just playing more than others

I’m not sure exactly what country they are from, but they are normally on the EU leaderboards. Either way, playing with high ping if they are on NA servers.

Short answer, he is really good. Long answer, Mercy. Despite what people will have you believe, there are a tonne of Mercy players in top ranks. Its not that hard to have a mercy every game to pocket you.

because pharahmercy is a busted and silly combo that prevents pharah from ever actually becoming her own good standalone hero and forces half the roster to switch to mulch her
it’s blizzard’s “go hitscan NOW!!!” hero, i’m 99% sure she only exists to hold hitscan metas in place

He’s probably a positioning god like Stevooo was. Stevooo got to top 500 with Sym 1.0 and can out position even OWL 3 stacks in OW1 at least with Sym 3.0.

If anything she needs buffs but is held back by Mercy dmg boost making even weak heros into living nightmares.

He plays VERY well, I have seen some games of him. His positioning is untouched.
Also, he get’s a Mercy pocket 24/7.
