Ive noticed most Roadhogs are starting to get the hook combo down to a tee, on top of the previously buffed fire rate and breather. I would argue that Roadhog is at his most powerful state, but a balanced one at that (due to how quickly he can die).

Roadhog is still F tiers as always since the mountain of nerf he received. The only reason you find him powerful is because bunker comp is a thing.
For information his gun is still garbage (random damage), he feed a lot (no shield, no armor), have 0 mobility and most of the DPS counter him hard.

I enjoy roadhog for the maps that want to run something like hammond/doomfist. When your DPS will not choose counters to these heroes and they are targeting the main tank its nice to have roadhog as a pick since dva and zarya can’t do much of anything to them except your supports and dps picks.
Hog counters are few now a days and his preferred supports are picking up steam.
Orisa/Bapt are pretty great for Hog and it really allows him to hold his ground and get the picks he needs.
Hog is tied to Orisa like Zarya is tied to Rein. When one starts being strong the other follows.
People are also discovering that Hog and WB go really well 2 gether. WB sets up Hooks just like Orisa can except any hooked target is already at deaths door making picks on hefty targets a sure thing.
Kinda lame when paired with Orisa, but very effective.
Can’t help but feel cheesed by the pull>hook combo sometimes though.
In a game where Ana is picked so consistently, Hog can have a very hard time existing. He is a blast to play, but expect to be slept every engagement, and heal blocked once you start taking damage.
I would personally rather play into Hog’s other counters (Mei, Reaper, Sombra) than Ana.
Since Orisa has been becoming meta, Hog is getting picked more because he has the best synergy with her compared to other offtanks. Other than that he still the same offtank he was when he got his spread fixed in some way.
I still think he is C tier maybe B with Orisa. But he is still the worst offtank in the entire roster.

He’s good because Orisa is good. He relies on his duo to be strongest to be ‘alright’
Still a terribly mid tier hero.
Roadhog is A+ tier right now. At least on ladder.
Roadhog strives in a bunker comp or against poorly organized teams. Outside of that, like people said previously, he’s just an ult battery for the enemy team.
