English is the most well-known language in Europe.
There are ‘70 million’ English speaking people in Europe. You do realise there is just under 70 million people in the UK alone? So while English isn’t most European countries’ first language, over 50% of its population know it as a second language.
No one is saying they should speak English, they just do because it is the most well known language in Europe. You can type something in English and expect the majority of the lobby to understand because most people in Europe at least learn English as a second language.
Look I’m not saying people don’t do this but If I were to ever get banned from a game I’d just go play something else. If I did do something to get banned then that is on me and I’d honestly probably end up doing it again wasting more money. If I was unfairly banned do I want to pay a company more money for such terrible service?
Also anytime people claim they were banned out of no where or over something innocent is absolute BS.
Considering it takes maybe 100 unique reports within a relatively short period to get banned and not one full teams worth or even games worth… I’m curious just HOW you asked that guy to use his ult and how often you “ask” people like that?
Cause… it SOUNDS like you might be obliviously abrasive and thinking the problem is everyone else.
bc its not illegal for a business to determine a code of conduct that, if broken, can result in them denying service. No shirts, no shoes? Sound familiar? If you get into a fist fight on the premises or scream at other customers you’re going to get thrown out of the walmart? The same thing applies in online spaces; if you’re acting badly, you’re going to be denied service (the service being the game).
I highly doubt your narrative of ‘just’ asking for somene to use their ult resulting in you getting a ban. I think most people have questioned a teammate who never used an ult all game/match because it’s pretty bad playing. I’ve definitely questioned a fellow mercy somewhat harshly even, reminding her snidely that triangle exists after she failed to valk a single time in a 5 minute round. So uh, out with the truth? how many slurs did you use?
Simple - you agreed to the terms when you purchased the game. You agreed that you forfeit your access to the game if you break Blizzard’s rules. You broke their rules, you got banned.
