Same thing happened with Sombra, a hero always known for being “high-skill” was suddenly the easiest ever according to the forums. And of course, most of the dive heroes got that treatment too.
Pretty much, anytime a hero is noticeably effective, people are going to start calling them skill-less to keep their own egos from being bruised.
yea people act like you can effortlessly oneclip with tracer ffs
he’s much less skilled now
By order it should go roughly as
Mei primary > mercy/d.va pistols > junkrat balls/pharah rockets/ana sleep dart > mei icicle/genji shurikens/torb primary/orisa primary > hanzo arrows/zen balls (only slight smaller than previous) > ana bolts
I never did a precise test so might be off in certain heroes mainly between mei/genji/torb/orisa/hanzo/zen since their projectile sizes are really really similar.
lmfao no he isn’t storm arrow requires more skill to use at full effectiveness you are seriously ridiculous and just saying any hero thats meta or op is “no skill” hey buddy, heros can be op and still take a lot of skill.
I kind of agree, if only because you still have to actually HIT your shots, it’s not like with Scatter Arrow where you shoot the floor and get free kills.
yes exactly, you have to hit your shots to reach the full potential, sure you can just spam them for bodyshots maybe thats a bit too powerful ??? but thats not reaching the full potential of the skill
actually if they remove crits from storm arrow they will make it become a “lower skill” ability because then all you can do is spam bodyshots
Wrong
I did the tests several times, on the training ground and in the custom game with my friends.
To measure the size of the hitbox, I used a crosshair (center gap option), and the base distance was equal to Lucio’s aura (10m).
Hitscan heroes hit the target with a sight distance from the target equal to 15 units (against heroes models). Ana has the same result.
Genji, Torb, Hanzo, uncharged Symm’s orbs, Orisa (probably) - 20
Lucio, Zen, Mei, Ana’s sleepdart - 30
D.Va’s pistol, Mercy, Soldier’s Helix rocket - 40
Pre nerf Junk’s grenades - 70 (Yes, I was also shocked by their size)
I forgot Pharah’s result, but her rockets were smaller than Junk’s grenades. 60 mb?
By the way, models of heroes have a very innacurate hitboxes. Hitbox of some of the heroes is strongly shifted in one direction. This is especially noticeable with Tracer and Ana. Distance between the legs of McCree and Widow is part of their hitbox. Their Hitbox is like a long skirt.
Values that I gave are valid for bots on the training ground. In the case of the hero’s models, values can be larger (sometimes less) depending on the particular model and the viewing angle.
