Now that his damage and his hook have been nerfed but his attacking and reloading speed increased, how are we feeling about it?
Personally I think he’s still very strong because his hook is still very strong to make enemies low or finish them, the increased reloading speed is definitely noticeable.
Feels good to not be forced to deal with him every single match
Still one of my favorite tanks to play. Noticeably more difficult, but still very enjoyable. And probably a lot less frustrating for people to play against as well.
He’s pretty underpowered of course, but I think he ought to be left alone until the rework goes through. He’s one of those heroes where if he’s meta the Roadhog is the only one having fun. Everyone else is just playing a horror game terrified for wherever the Hog is gonna peak next and insta kill you. That being said, you can still hit the one shot, it just takes a lot more to pull it off.
He’s hilariously good into Orisa as long as you heal out of her LoS. She just runs in with her little spin and then you wait out the golden glow and she dies in three shots.
Bonus points if you ult when she pulls you in and then she dies in like 1 second.
Also decent against Ramattra for knocking him away when he ults and just destroying him when he comes in close to punch.
Against everything else he still sucks though.
Still very annoying, but he is not mind numbingly strong now so not that big of a deal.
Best feeling in the world is not dying in one shot. I think hog as a whole is suffering though, I hope the overhaul does him justice. To be honest, hog even right now feels viable, that feeling goes away the second ana is involved. Blizzard buffed ana’s nade to counter hog when he could still one shot and it made a difference but now? That anti nade is a nightmare for everyone and needs to be reverted.

He’s all right. I personally feel tanks are all over the place, not balanced much at all, and very hard to because they are dependent so much on the rest of the team.
Roadhog is who you pick when you can’t depend on others. Self heal is the main reason for me, it was never about the hook, as much as I like it.
He can still one shot but its not as easy as the hook combo. Still strong in the right hands.
I only see him in Total Mayhem now (only for his ult).
Roadhog or road kill? Because it’s the same now.
He’s bad, like real bad. I thrive when he’s on the enemy team and anguish when he’s on mine. I don’t like Roadhog but he’s clearly awful.
